During fall ball action Parker-Barnes displayed drastically improved offensive skills. So, we were expecting a monster senior campaign from him, and Parker-Barnes has delivered. As a result, he is a legitimate candidate for Friends League POY and has increased his recruiting stock significantly. Barnes is an efficient scorer who can produce points at all three-levels. The trifecta of his speed, agility and hops makes him a dynamic transition player. Additionally, this season Parker-Barnes has proven that he can operate as a high-level primary ball handler. In 2024-25 Parker-Barnes has registered games of 26 points (2x), 21 points and 19 points. Millersville (offer), Southern Mississippi, Maine, and Delaware State are among the college programs that have expressed interest in Parker-Barnes.

Zamir is a mile long guard who uses his rangy to maneuver his way on the attack. He has the ability to hunt scoring chances and can convert the tough ones. Parker-Barnes has an electric first step. He glides to different spots when he has the ball in his hands. He has good ball skills and can dance to different places on the floor. On the defensive end he can guard different positions and length can cover a ton of ground. Colleges who need a versatile athlete should take a look at Zamir!

Over the last two months Parker-Barnes has received significant interest from college coaches. After his standout performance against La Salle CHS this past weekend, it is easy to see why. Parker-Barnes drained threes, scored off the bounce and in transition as he recorded 27 points in the scoring column. He also operated as a secondary ball handler at times who initiated the AFS offense. His athleticism and length frequently disrupted La Salle’s offensive flow.

College coaches should expect a monster senior season from Parker-Barnes. In 2023-24 he was a 1st Team All-FSL selection who turned heads with his ability to score in bunches from multiple positions. Then over the last four months Parker-Barnes took his offensive game to the next level and the result has been a surge in his recruiting stock. In recent fall ball action Parker-Barnes has posted multiple 20-point+ games. Included in that impressive stretch of play were performances of 27 points and 4 rebounds as well as 22 points and 10 boards. In addition to significantly improved scoring skills, Parker-Barnes also proved he can work as a floor general style point guard. This fall programs such as Millersville (offer), Southern Mississippi, Maine, and Delaware State have expressed serious interest in Parker-Barnes.
