Londen Roseman
Londen Roseman
State champion Londen Roseman enters his senior season following two full varsity seasons, including the 2021-2022 campaign that saw the Robinson Bulldogs as NCHSAA 2A State Champions. During the 2022-2023 campaign, Roseman complemented 3 highly productive seniors with 9.8 ppg over the course of a 22-7 record (12-0 conference) season in conference, before falling in the 3rd round to eventual state runner-up, Reidsville. Roseman is a reliable, intentional leader who uses his length well when defending the perimeter, attacks the rim with purpose, and looks to hit teammates off of drives. Roseman will be in prime position to lead this team entering his senior season, hoping to continue with the program’s success as they return to 3A classification.
Jeremiah will easily be one of Cabarrus County’s most dominant big men this upcoming season. In his junior campaign, Howard tallied 9.8 PPG, 8.6 RPG, 1.8 APG, 0.6 SPG, 1.3 BPG with a 19-9 record (11-3 conference) and a 2nd place conference finish. Howard is massive and offers a clear advantage given his athleticism and lateral mobility. Howard is vocal on the defensive end of the floor, and carries over the same toughness that allows him to compete on the gridiron as a Defensive End.
Malakhi Long
Malakhi Long
Long is an energetic shooting guard that will be playing for Carolina International School transfer from Ashbrook. Malakhi provides a level of vocality and natural energy that pays dividends in regards to positive morale. Long enters his senior season following a productive summer in which he showed an ability to assume the role of a primary scorer, as well as initiator. Long does not jump off the page with length of explosive athleticism, yet constantly finds himself competing, regardless of the matchup. Carolina International will quickly be able to put to use some of Long’s shining characteristics, such as his infectious energy or willingness to take on a variety of offensive responsibilities.
Gonder will be looking to continue producing as a leader for this Northwest Cabarrus roster. The Trojans are under new leadership entering the season, as head coach Julian Carlton looks to capitalize on some of the pieces that helped last year’s team earn a 9-5 conference record. Gonder had exceptional moments during his junior season, including 33 and 37 point outings last season. Gonder is a tough, downhill attacker that is capable of knocking down catch and shoot jumpers in rhythm. He’ll be amongst this groups most consistent rebounders given his motor, and is physically equipped to defend opponents of varying sizes and levels of athleticism.
