Peach Jam EYBL: College-Ready Power Forwards Shine

The Peach Jam EYBL week-long session consisted of all the high-level prospects the nation has to offer, and the event did not disappoint. Several players at each position made their case for why they should be ranked near the top nationally. Let us focus on some power forwards who I believe are ready for the collegiate ranks based on their play this last week. All of these players showcase three level scoring ability, elite defense, shooting marksmanship, and hustle for loose balls and in transition.    [player_tooltip player_id='2353562' first='Ian' last='Condon'] was definitely one of my top shooters I was able to scout throughout the duration of Peach Jam, and he constantly lit up the scoresheet from beyond the arc. Ian isn't just a shooter either, he can impact putting the ball in the hoop multiple ways due to his size and skill at his position. He can either pick and pop off screens or go box out larger opposing players in the paint to secure multiple chance opportunities or reset the offense. Condon possesses offers from Boston College, Syracuse, Notre Dame, and Northwestern. He currently has visits scheduled to all 4 schools coming up in September and October.     Kager Knueppel was the best shooter I watched during the duration of Peach Jam, and he had several games where he made upwards of 6-7 threes or more. He moves very well without the ball and can shoot over opponents due to his size and smooth mechanics on his jumpshot form. He helps with handling the ball under full court pressure and can also double as a post presence on the glass when needed. Knueppel has had a very big summer playing with Team Herro and actually committed to Duke towards the conclusion of the Peach Jam week, following in his brothers' footsteps.     [player_tooltip player_id='2353561' first='Brandon' last='Woodard'] is an important shot blocking and paint presence for [program_tooltip program_id='2078457' first='Team' last='Durant'] and he showcased that in some key games during their Peach Jam session. Brandon had several key rejections in the paint when opponents tried to drive to the rim, and he also grabbed rebounds that no one else was capable of using their athleticism to get to. He uses his leaping ability to finish putbacks from missed shots and push the ball in transition, finishing dunks in the paint. Woodard currently has offers from Miami, Florida State, Maryland, Oklahoma State and has an official visit scheduled for September 18th to Rutgers.     Jayon was my most underrated prospect of the entire week due to this being my first time to watch him in person. He was the true definition of an all-around player for [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3'], averaging 15 points and almost 9 rebounds per game throughout the Peach Jam tourney. Connor uses athleticism to glide through the air and finish at a high rate in the paint on offense and is a key defensive asset on the other side of the ball. He can guard any position due to his aggressiveness and is a great vocal leader on both ends of the court as well. Connor currently gained offers from Georgia Tech, Houston, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Illinois.     Quinton Kitt is a 6'6 power forward who gets to the line efficiently and impacts the stat sheet in all categories. During the entire week of Peach Jam for MeanStreets, Quinton consistently hurt the defense with consistent paint scoring and shooting from the corner three-point spot. His hustle in transition pays off, resulting in easy buckets for his team under the basket and his aggressive defense on the perimeter causes turnovers for opposing ballhandlers. Kitt has a strong frame that he can use to guard anywhere on the floor, and he can even play bully ball with opponents down low if he has a mismatch. Kitt committed to Illinois in November of 2025.
