Jehki Burnum, 6’4 SF Linden
Burnum is a forward prospect who could have a big winter with his ability to stretch the floor. The 6’4 wing has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Burnum can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He has the potential to defend multiple positions on the floor and is a solid rebounder. Burnum is a sharpshooting wing prospect whose ability to torch the nets from distance will help his stock in a big way.
Tyshawn Boyd Tyshawn Boyd 6'4" | SF Newark Tech | 2026 State NJ , 6’4 SF Newark Tech
Boyd had a standout debut season for the Terriers as he was named Second Team All-Group 1. The 6’4 forward attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of contact. Boyd uses his strong frame to get position down low and moves well without the ball in his hands. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and makes an impact on the defensive end. Boyd is a forward to track this season with his ability to make plays around the basket.
Jayden Teyan Jayden Teyan 6'6" | PF Rutgers Prep | 2026 State NJ , 6’6 PF Rutgers Prep
Teyan is an intriguing forward prospect due to his combination of length and athleticism. The lanky 6’6 forward has a solid face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. Teyan has a nice release on his free throws and can knock down jumpers in the mid-range. He influences shots on the defensive end with his length and works hard on the glass. Teyan is a long, forward prospect who is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential.
Chase Moore Chase Moore 6'4" | SF Middle Township | 2026 State NJ , 6’4 SF Middle Township
Moore had a solid debut season for the Panthers and is looking to build off it this winter. The 6’4 lefty shoots the ball with confidence from behind the arc and has a quick release on his shot. Moore is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the rim. He moves his feet well on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Moore’s ability to stretch the floor and finish around the basket is something that will help his development throughout the season.
Derek Gomez Derek Gomez 6'5" | PF St. Peter's Prep | 2026 State NJ , 6’5 PF St. Peter’s Prep
Gomez has the potential to make noise this winter with his ability to make plays inside and out. The 6’5 forward sets his feet before he shoots and has a nice release on his jumper. Gomez is able to get position down low and has a good touch around the basket. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Gomez’s ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his stock in a big way in 2023-24.
