A driving force behind much of Arts’ offensive production, Tyshaun Boyd Tyshaun Boyd Tyshaun Boyd 6'4" | SF Arts | 2026 State NJ consistently operates as the catalyst for this Arts team’s attack. Boyd’s versatility paired with the physical tools he brings to the floor allow him to impact the game in a variety of ways. Showcasing a blend of eye catching athleticism and explosive burst, Boyd excelled across multiple scoring areas in this matchup against St. Benedict’s— attacking closeouts and inviting contact to get to the free throw line, activity on the offensive glass, attacking out of his perimeter face up game, catching dump offs in the painted area and finishing around the basket while also flashing his mid range area shot making.

Largely responsible for a lot of the success Arts generates on the offensive end of the court, Tyshaun Boyd Tyshaun Boyd Tyshaun Boyd 6'4" | SF Arts | 2026 State NJ routinely serves as the engine that gets this offense going, particularly with his versatility and the different things the physical tools he possesses allow him to do on the floor. Possessing an interesting combination of glaring athleticism and explosive pop, Boyd shined in the different ways he was able to score the basketball— athletic above the rim finishes in transition, spot up shooting from the perimeter, knocking down fluid mid range jumpers, along side his ability to get downhill and convert on soft touch runners.

Boyd excels on the gridiron as well, but is also a force on the hardwood. The 6’4 forward explodes off the floor for dunks and can finish through contact around the rim. Boyd has a good first step, which he uses to get to his spot on the floor and is an underrated passer. He rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor and has the athleticism to defend multiple positions on the floor. Boyd is a physical forward prospect who should fill up the stat sheet this month.

Shouldering the boatload of the offensive production for Arts Friday afternoon, Tyshaun Boyd got into a nice rhythm and showcased his ability to score the basketball from different areas in the halfcourt— being an aggressive downhill driver putting pressure on the rim, operating out of the mid post and displaying his face up game, and knocking down open shots both from behind the three point line and in the mid range area. Boyd has impressive length and is a fluid athlete, and used those physical tools to make on impact both on the glass and the defensive end of the floor as well.

The engine behind Arts’ offensive success Wednesday night, Tyshaun Boyd displayed his ability to put pressure on the rim— excelling as a rim runner in transition while also being an aggressive downhill attacker in halfcourt sets. Boyd did an excellent job of finishing in traffic in the paint. Boyd also showed flashes of his mid range shot making ability both in turn and face scenarios or pulling up on dribble drives. Defensively, Boyd played the passing lanes with good anticipation turning defense into offense and often times finishing above the rim.

Boyd will look to control the painted area with his impressive footwork and moves. However, with that comes lots of attention put on him by the defense. He has excellent awareness of when to get rid of the ball before a trap gets him. He can take the ball up and run the offense like a point guard with his 6’4″ size. His ability to weave in and out of the midrange gives him opportunities to get his teammates open on the perimeter for open three-point shots.
