10. Kameron Taylor Kameron Taylor 6'7" | SF Carmel Christian | 2024 State NC – 6’7 – Olympic High School
Taylor was a late addition to the 2024 rankings and finds him as the No. 10 SF/Wing in the current rankings. He returns for the Olympic Trojans looking to do more damage after nearly averaging a double-double with 16.5 PPG, 9.5 RPG along with 3.0 APG, 1.4 SPG and 1.0 BPG on 58 percent shooting from the floor in their rotation. He’ll look to make more of a splash in the pick-and-roll game alongside Jaydon Terrell Jaydon Terrell 6'1" | PG JL Chambers | 2025 State NC on the hardwood.
9. Carlos Vazquez Carlos Vazquez 6'5" | SF Wayne Country Day | 2024 State NC – 6’5 – Wayne Country Day School
Vazquez returns for Wayne Country Day School in 2023-24 as the No. 9 SF/Wing in North Carolina’s 2024 class. He operates in a variety of ways on the floor as a rebounder, shot-blocker and passer, showing he can do a whole lot more than score when he’s on the hardwood. He finished the 2022-23 season with 13.4 PPG and 7.8 RPG for the Chargers. He’ll look to go out with a bang on the NCISAA stage with Wayne Country Day to close out his career. DII and DIII programs would be wise to get eyes on him.
8. Isaiah Otyaluk Isaiah Otyaluk 6'7" | SF Word Of God | 2024 State NC – 6’7 – Word of God Christian Academy
Isaiah Otyaluk Isaiah Otyaluk 6'7" | SF Word Of God | 2024 State NC is a name that continues to impress as MM DI programs are starting to take notice. He continues to climb up the PH radar and show off his consistency on the wing as an attacker off the bounce and knock-down shooter off the catch. He’s set to do damage on the OTE stage on a national scale this upcoming season alongside Jordan Vick Jordan Vick 5'11" | PG Word of God | 2025 State NC (ECU) and Paul McNeil (NC State) on a budding roster. Look for his stock to rise this season!
7. Jamias Ferere Jamias Ferere 6'5" | SF Southern Guilford | 2024 State NC – 6’5 – Southern Guilford High School
Jamias Ferere Jamias Ferere 6'5" | SF Southern Guilford | 2024 State NC is a budding name to get to know out of the Triad area with Southern Guilford High School. He’s a prospect that’s shown he can operate on the wing as a shotmaker and on the interior as a finisher in the painted area. The Storm fell short last season in the 3A ranks when they ran into Central Cabarrus High in the state playoffs but with some help and a chip on his shoulder in 2023-24, he’ll look to change the outcome this go around.
6. Isaiah Washington Isaiah Washington 6'5" | SG Winston-Salem Christian | 2024 State NC – 6’5 – Winston-Salem Christian School
Washington is a smooth operator on the wing that checks in at No. 6 as the Top SF/Wing in the 2024 class. He’s a strong creator in isolation that can make tough shots in traffic from the wing. He was a consistent spark off the bench on the EYBL stage for Team CP3 with his ability to knock down shots and attack the basket from the wing. He’s set to have a strong season leading the way for Winston-Salem Christian School on the national stage this season. DI programs should take notice of him along with Felipe Patino Felipe Patino 6'4" | SG Winston-Salem Christian | 2024 State NC .
5. Desmond Kent Jr Desmond Kent Jr 6'5" | SF Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC . – 6’5 – Central Cabarrus High School
Desmond Kent Jr Desmond Kent Jr 6'5" | SF Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC returns for Central Cabarrus High after earning the Sixth Man of the Year award for them in their 32-0 unbeaten streak to the state title. He’s developed tremendously since then as a creator off the bounce that plays with a ton of energy on defense as a versatile defender and shot-blocker. Shaw University and Chowan University have both offered him so far as he heads into a pivotal senior season.
4. Langston Boyd Langston Boyd 6'4" | SF Mallard Creek | 2024 State NC – 6’4 – Cox Mill High School
Boyd continues to fly under the radar in the state’s 2024 class despite being the fourth-best SF/Wing in the rankings. He’s an athletic presence that’s shown he can finish at the rim and knock down shots with consistency on all levels. He was a consistent face in the Atlantic Celtics rotation this past grassroots cycle. He’s set to lead Cox Mill High in more ways than one this upcoming season. Georgia Southern and Hampton have both offered him and he’s got an official visit setup for Sept. 2 to Georgia Southern.
3. Ari Fulton Ari Fulton 6'7" | SF Westover | 2024 State NC – 6’6 – Westover High School
Fulton continues to climb up the recruiting radar after a productive grassroots campaign with Team Curry in 2023. He’s a versatile presence with length and athleticism at 6-foot-6 that’s just scratching the surface of what he can do on the wing as a facilitator and scorer. He’s shown he can operate in a variety of ways on the floor with his strong frame and continues to turn heads with his play. East Carolina, UW-Milwaukee, Queens, NJIT, Arkansas State, Hampton and Presbyterian College have all offered him.
2. Sean Birmingham Sean Birmingham 6'8" | CG Concord Academy | 2024 State #215 Nation NC – 6’8 – Carmel Christian School
Birmingham is an emerging name to get to know as the No. 2 SF/Wing in the 2024 class. He’s a lengthy lefty wing that’s shown he can space the floor with his shooting stroke and ability to attack off the bounce given his size. He continues to attract the attention of a plethora of DI programs as he moves to Carmel Christian School. East Carolina, Morehead State, East Tennessee State, George Mason, Bradley and Mercer have all offered him as he approaches his final season of high school ball.
1. Rakease Passmore Rakease Passmore 6'6" | SF Combine Academy | 2024 State #50 Nation NC – 6’6 – Combine Academy
Passmore continues to battle the notion that he’s just an athletic dunker and remains an impressive wing prospect that can guard the other team’s best player and still act as a primary scorer on the wing. He finished up with Team Thad on the EYBL stage in his final grassroots season before heading back to focus on the high school season. Now, he’ll look to show off his overall development on the national stage as Combine Academy joins the OTE fold. He’s got a slew of visits setup with Mississippi State (Sept. 9), Miami (Sept. 15), LSU (Sept. 22) and Arkansas (Oct. 6) as he looks to wrap up his recruitment before the end of the season.
