We were able to spend a good amount of time at each of them and in this piece we take a closer look at the best forwards we saw in the Las Vegas Big Time event.
Caleb Wilson, 2025, Florida Rebels
Wilson is a multi-skilled forward who, at 6-feet-9, has the modern skill-set for a 4/3 type of prospect. Wilson has really good feel as an off-ball mover and cutter in half-court offense, which results in easy buckets at teh rim. The rising junior can also step out onto the perimeter and knock down open threes, take defenders off the bounce and create for teammates, or score himself in the lane.
Cameron Boozer Cameron Boozer 6'9" | PF Columbus | 2025 State #2 Nation FL , 2025, Nightrydas Elite
Boozer is one of the top prospects in the country regardless class and the more you watch him the easier it is to see why that is. The 6-foot-9 forward is one of the more efficient players we saw all summer – both in terms of shot making ability and how he gets to those shots. Boozer has a handful of simple but effective post moves with touch with either hand. He can also step out onto the perimeter and knock down catch and shoot threes or act as a point-forward with his passing ability.
Chiang Ring Chiang Ring 6'8" | C Park Center | 2024 State #276 Nation MN , 2024, JSizzles
Ring is a smooth and mobile 6-foot-10 forward who is best as a transition rim-runner and finisher because of his fluidity, great hands and a high motor. Ring has also shown the ability to knock down three-point shots in trail situations or when spotting up in the corners or on the wings.
Jacob Wilkins Jacob Wilkins 6'9" | SF Grayson | 2025 State #14 Nation GA , 2025, Georgia Stars
Wilkins has NBA bloodlines – the son of Dominique Wilkins – and he got plenty of his father’s athleticism. The 6-foot-9 forward is best described as a “freakish” athlete and is a consistent lob threat in the half-court and open-court settings in addition to his ability to score on straight-line drive finishes. Wilkins frame, athletic ability and length make us believe he’s a very high upside prospect in the 2025 class.
Kash Polk Kash Polk 6'9" | PF Argyle | 2025 State #145 Nation TX , 2025, YBE
Polk can be best described as a highly-skilled face-up four man who can also impact the game with his back to the basket. At 6-feet-9 with coordination, ball skills and shooting ability, Polk is a threat to stretch the floor off the catch but can also attack closeouts and hit pull-up jumpers or get all the way to the basket and finish above the rim. Polk is a smart and unselfish player on the block who can hit turn-around jumpers or draw an extra defender and hit an open shooter.
