Here's a look at some of my best prospects from this past weekend at The Last Dance in Chicago!

Eli Ellis - Kyle Guy 17U

This is a prospect that you can't leave open. If that was the case, he made you pay for it. In their opening contest Friday evening, he score a whopping 39 points. 26 came in the first half alone. What's even more impressive is that I didn't see him miss a single shot in that contest. The following day, he scored 38 points and catapulted Kyle Guy to an OT win. He's got so many hot zones and can score in a variety of ways. There's also a playmaking side to his game that I like. Picked up plenty of assists while also creating turnovers defensively.

Benjamin Tweedy - AUSA Hoops 17U Ed

Tweedy was arguably the best passer I watched this weekend. He always seemed to know where everyone was and created so many plays for his teammates. He's a double-double threat every time I watch him. Nice size for a point guard at 6'4" and has all the tools you look for in a collegiate level point guard. He's also very lengthy, which is something that might get overlooked. This makes his defensive potential so high.

[player_tooltip player_id='1970502' first='Cade' last='Dirkse'] - Chapman North 15U

A big time playmaking guard who comes through in the clutch. Dirkse hit a coast-to-coast buzzer beater for the win against Vikings on Saturday. Scoring 20 points in that contest. When I watched him Sunday morning, he added another 20-point performance. Shooting at a high clip and getting the shots to fall. He also displayed excellent vision in the open floor. Accumulating lots of assists in a 67-58 win over Colorado's B&B.

Jameson Zavatchin - Chapman North 15U

He's an athletic forward who dropped 26 points Sunday Morning to beat B&b. Flying all over the floor, running out in transition, scoring confidently at the rim. I love his pick-and-roll abilities as that help him get countless easy scoring opportunities. He's also very physical and can make hard plays on defense. Averaged 22 points per game this weekend over four games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1545144' first='Samuel' last='Hirsch'] - [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] Gold 16U

A 6'3" guard to watch with a nice build. He always makes a big impact when he's out on the floor. Excellent shooting mechanics. Played a big role in their opening match Friday evening. He works so well to create his own shot. Three-level scoring capabilities shouldn't be overlooked too. I also saw him get involved heavily in the passing game, picking up a handful of assists in this contest. Small schools would love this kid.

Josh Humbles - [program_tooltip program_id='2076253' first='Team' last='Illinois'] 15U

Here's a prospect who knows how to put the ball in the hoop. He scored 26 points Saturday to beat Gateway Knights. Adding four 3's and knocking down shots all over the floor. He followed it up Sunday with a big time performance to down one of North Dakota's top teams, ECI. He scored 22 points and was so impressive at finding spaces in the defense and knocking down open looks consistently.

[player_tooltip player_id='1418511' first='Drew' last='Daoust'] - [program_tooltip program_id='2076029' first='Wisconsin' last='Crusaders'] 16U

A three-level bucker getter for the Crusaders. [player_tooltip player_id='1418511' first='Drew' last='Daoust'] always shows out on the Prep Hoops stage. This weekend was no different. The 6'1" Point Guard scored 22 points against the EYBL [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2076910' first='Meanstreets' last='']' last='']. Being a big difference-maker in a 64-59 win. He followed that up shortly afterword with a 25 point performance to beat Capital City 82-74. Once Daoust gets going, he becomes a nightmare to go up against. As a sophomore in Door County, WI, he averaged more than 30 points per game during the high school season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1289073' first='Keegan' last='Van Kauwenberg'] - [program_tooltip program_id='2076029' first='Wisconsin' last='Crusaders'] 16U

Just like Daoust, KVK always shines on the Prep Hoops Stage. He's such a lethal scorer and a big time bucket getter. A high-volume shooter who got it done against [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='[program_tooltip program_id='2076910' first='Meanstreets' last='']' last=''] Saturday Afternoon. Scoring 19 points in the win. He also scored 20 points in the first half of their final game Sunday.

Jarvis Tolbert - Indiana Game 15U

He's already got a really nice build with plenty of athleticism at 6'1". There was no quit in him Sunday morning as he led Indiana Game to a 69-68 comeback win over Vikings United. Down double digits in the second half, Tolbert took over the game and scored 17 points (24 total). Knocking down shots off the dribble and displaying plenty of confidence to drive down the lane and score through contact. After not leading the entire second half, Tolbert attacked the lane and knocked down a contested layup at the buzzer to win.
