Kyan was dominant in the action I saw on Saturday. He used his size and strength to fight through contact down low and finish through multiple defenders at a time. Along with his strong frame, he is very athletic, often beating defenders using the dribble and even threw down a huge dunk over a defender in transition. Blomquist is very versatile on both sides of the ball, being positionless for the most part.
This was the first time I had been able to see Trey’Dez play and the hype was definitely deserving. He stands at 6-foot-8 and was the most athletic player I saw in the entire event. He was throwing dunk after dunk on Saturday, being unstoppable when he got a full head of steam in transition. He was a force on the boards, coming away with contested rebounds on both ends of the floor. He also showed flashes of what he could create for himself off the dribble.
Eli was one of the best volume scorers I saw all weekend, absolutely taking over in the action I saw. He is a lights out shooter and was connecting with some ridiculous, off balance looks off the dribble. He is creative with the ways he can create separation from defenders and always looks under control when getting his shots off. He dropped 39 points in Saturday’s win over LA Broncos, carrying his team to a tight victory.

The Minnesota Rush offense runs so smoothly when Amory is on the floor and he is always impacting the game in a positive way when the ball is in his hands. He is one of the best passers I saw all weekend and was making some perfect kick out passes and long overhand passes in transition. He was scoring from both inside and outside, attacking defenders to draw fouls and knocking down looks off the catch or off the dribble.
Broderick caught fire in their late game against Big 3 Basketball. He was pulling up from deep behind the line, shooting with no hesitation when he received the ball in the catch-and-shoot. With his lanky 6’3” frame, he has solid size for a two-guard, being able to shoot over defenders if they do not get a solid contest. Brooks is a knockdown shooter who can take over a game when he gets hot.

Ramsey is one of the top 2025 prospects in all of North Dakota and it is easy to see why. He uses his 6’7” frame to his advantage inside, bringing in rebounds and holding down the paint defensively. He is very versatile on offense, being able to score inside through traffic and step out to connect with shots from beyond the arc. Walz moves very smoothly when he is on the floor and has great potential with his combination of size and skill.

Timmy was a key piece of Minnesota Rush’s perfect 4-0 record this weekend. He brings intensity on the defensive end, sometimes picking up at half court to disrupt opposing offenses. With the ball in his hands, he can blow by defenders with his speed and ability to change direction in a flash. Denedo is never scared to finish through opponents bigger than him, impressing me with his ability to make difficult acrobatic layups look easy.
Highlights
Fitz was a game changer with his ability to dominate the paint on both ends of the court. He was coming away with some contested rebounds, being able to use his strong, 6’6” frame to fight off opponents. He looked good finishing inside, even throwing down a huge two-handed dunk off of a pass from a teammate. Freeman is an unselfish player who can do the dirty work inside for his team.
Carson’s shot creating ability really stuck out to me in his Saturday matchup. He never looks rushed when the ball is in his hands and was knocking down some difficult looks off the dribble. He was using the dribble to get to his spots in the mid-range, making defenders pay for leaving even a sliver of open space to pull up. Keach could be a 2024 prospect to look out for in Colorado.
Blake is a lights out shooter and was taking advantage of the defense losing track of him when he was playing off the ball. He connected with five triples in the win over B&B Academy, being automatic when he gets his feet set. Most of his damage came in the catch-and-shoot, always being prepared to receive a pass from a teammate. Dalluge was a big reason for Minnesota Chill’s solid 3-1 record on the weekend in Chicago.
