About Broderick
Expert Analysis
Chivas Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
Brooks is a bigger guard that is very shifty with the basketball. He is good off the catch and shot from the three-point line but loves to come down full speed and pull up for a three-point shot from deep. He understands how to change paces and speeds to keep the defense guessing. He shows great enthusiasm when playing the game and is a vocal leader for his team. He competes on both ends of the floor and understands when to push the basketball up the floor and when to slow it down as well. He is very athletic but relies less on his feel for the game than his athleticism.
Due to his consistent play throughout the tournament he was chosen as our 17u tournament MVP.

Broderick is a long and agile wing for LA Broncos. Was able to make plays using his athleticism to attack the basket and finish, while also flashing a nice pull-up jumper. Has a high release and gets good elevation on his shot making it difficult to contest. Stood out defensively with his ability to switch on to just about any spot on the floor while providing an additional shot blocking/rebounding threat with his long frame.

Broderick caught fire in their late game against Big 3 Basketball. He was pulling up from deep behind the line, shooting with no hesitation when he received the ball in the catch-and-shoot. With his lanky 6’3” frame, he has solid size for a two-guard, being able to shoot over defenders if they do not get a solid contest. Brooks is a knockdown shooter who can take over a game when he gets hot.
