Royce Edwards Royce Edwards 6'0" | CG Rangeview | 2025 State CO – Rangeview – 2025
Edwards reaffirmed his quality shotmaking ability off the bounce, alongside his continued growth as a facilitator. The lead guard will be an invaluable playmaker for Rangeview, which boasts a very young, backcourt centric roster. The guard was prepared to let the ball fly quickly off the catch, unfazed by immediate contests. Within a spaced out Rangeview halfcourt filled with shooting and athletic guards, Edwards will have ample opportunities as a driver, possessing the necessary spacing for open drives. The incoming junior makes sure to provide defensive value, staying aggressive at the point of attack.
John Backhaus John Backhaus 6'4" | SG Windsor | 2025 State CO – Windsor – 2024
Backhaus looks to be an effective shotmaker for Windsor, providing notable shooting efficiency off the catch while standing right around 6’2. The shooting guard is not wavered by contests, letting it fly most often from the wings and top of the key through the matches I watched. Backhaus possesses above average strength at his position, not easily moved around by opponents. Backhaus and Windsor look to make noise yet again in the state playoffs.
Cherif Diallo Cherif Diallo 6'2" | PG Accelerated Prep | 2026 CO – Accelerated Prep – 2026
Diallo is a very strong guard who is quite possibly the most physically imposing guard of anyone in the 2026 Colorado class. Standing right around 6’2, he is a freight train getting downhill. Repeatedly proving to be all too difficult for most opponents to slow him down when he has a head of steam. He is capable of attacking with either hand, as well as being dependable at slowing down the pace to get crafty with his footwork. He is effective at hitting strong side corner shooters and making the extra pass to a baseline cutter. His development as a shooter will be a key component to his offensive ceiling and overall versatility on that end.
Aiden Greene – Horizon – 25
Greene has shown value spacing the floor, possessing a compact form that is dangerous off the catch. Standing right around 6’4, the shooting guard brings toughness and hustle not often found among that position in the state. He will be one of Horizon’s key contributors next season, bringing a blend of strength and perimeter gravity.
Tara Majok – Montbello – 25
Majok brings immediate value on the defensive end, capable of defending 1 through 3 due to his wide reach and notably quick lateral movement. The wing is excellent at defending at the point of attack, possessing quick hips that allow him to recover against ball moves. His physical tools make him a tough opponent to score on, in one matchup at the Colorado Live Showcase, he grabbed three blocks in the first half. His offensive ceiling has yet to be realized, although he showed flashes of off the dribble shotmaking, contributing on a couple one dribble pull-up jumpers. Another aspect of his impact comes on the glass, where he is constantly roaming around for rebounds.
