There will be some NCAA College Basketball Academy camps in July, but for all intents and purposes Sunday will mark the final opportunity for college programs to evaluate prospects this summer. Let’s dive on in to how the five Indiana Elite programs did on Saturday at the 3SSB Championships in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Indiana Elite 15u
The Indiana Elite basketball program will have a representative playing for a championship on Sunday at the 3SSB Championships in Rock Hill. The 15u squad built an early second lead up to 18 points, but that would eventually dwindle down to just eight points as DI Minnesota made their run. However, Indiana Elite answered with a couple of big buckets including a smooth pull-up jump shot by Reggie Hinton Reggie Hinton 5'10" | PG Gary West Side | 2026 State IN (Gary West Side H.S. 2025) to get their lead back up to 12 points with just over four minutes to play. That would prove to be enough as they would move on to the championship game on Sunday with an 80-66 victory.
Jacob Spurlock Jacob Spurlock 6'3" | CG Boyd County | 2026 State KY (Boyd County H.S. 2026) finished with a team-leading 16 points. Meanwhile, big man Jonas Muya (La Lumiere 2026) added 13 points while JC Anderson (Mount Zion H.S. 2026) and Reggie Hinton Reggie Hinton 5'10" | PG Gary West Side | 2026 State IN each finished with 12 points.
Indiana Elite 17u
This group played with fire on Thursday and Friday before ultimately running into a bit of a buzzsaw on Saturday against Team Loaded VA 17u. Indiana Elite fell behind early and was just never able to get over the hump. They struggled from beyond the arc and some foul trouble for their front court made it difficult to impose their will around the basket. Newly reclassed 2024 prospect Jayden Quaintance, who was a Top 5 prospect in the Class of 2025, also proved to be the best matchup for Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN (Kokomo H.S. 2024) that anyone has found yet in the country. Watching those two battle it out on the block was a sight to behold.
Travis Perry Travis Perry 6'2" | PG Lyon County | 2024 State #115 Nation KY (Lyon County H.S. 2024) and Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN each had 13 points in the loss for Indiana Elite 17u.
Indiana Elite 17u was able to bounce back and get an easy 70-42 blowout victory over Southern Assault 17u later in the afternoon. 5-star center Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN led the way with 17 points while Colin White added 16 points. Additionally, Travis Perry Travis Perry 6'2" | PG Lyon County | 2024 State #115 Nation KY and Aaron Fine Aaron Fine 6'3" | PG Noblesville | 2024 State IN (Noblesville H.S. 2024) contributed 12 and 11 points respectively.
Indiana Elite Team Indiana 16u
The three-point shot is the great equalizer, and Team Indiana 16u used that to their advantage on Saturday afternoon against a talented Team Loaded NC 16u squad. Trey Yoder Trey Yoder 6'6" | PF Woodlan | 2025 State IN (Woodlan H.S. 2025) went off for seven three-pointers, but Drew Snively Drew Snively 6'4" | SG Zionsville | 2025 State IN (Zionsville H.S. 2025) added three of his own as Team Indiana combined for 11 three-pointers on the game.
