Desmond Kent Jr Desmond Kent Jr 6’5″ | SF Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC should be a highly-value prospect this summer for college coaches in the region. He’s a wiry prospect with some defensive versatility in his wheelhouse as a defender/shot-blocker. He’s shown he can score it in bunches, getting open on the perimeter and creating off the bounce using his burst and length. He’s a prospect coaches should get eyes on this weekend. Check him out in action this weekend with Central Cabarrus during the June Live Periods.
Bo Koebbe Bo Koebbe 6’6″ | SF Living Water Christian | 2024 State NC is another prospect with some versatility on the wing given his length at 6-foot-6. He’s a prospect that’s shown he can do a little bit of everything as a shot-maker, defender, rebounder and playmaker to help his team. He’s been a productive face in the Eastern Carolina Phenomz rotation for quite some time out of the Jacksonville area. Colleges in the region would be wise to get eyes on him.
Ma’Kyi Butler Ma’Kyi Butler 6’5″ | SF Grace Christian (Sanford) | 2024 State NC is quite the underrated wing prospect to get to know in the 2024 class. He’s been a busy face in the Team Trezz Williams rotation off the wing as a producer and shotmaker. He’s got a ton of confidence shooting the basketball on the perimeter and in the midrange. He uses his strong frame to get to the paint and make things happen just as well.
Lleyton Thomas-Johnson Lleyton Thomas-Johnson 6’4″ | SG Christ School | 2024 State NC is a prospect due to break out on the wing with The Christ School very soon. He’s a 6-foot-5 prospect that’s shown he can operate with and without the ball in his hands on the wing on offense. He averaged just 5.4 ppg but shot 51 percent from the field on the year in 2022-23. As he shows he can be a presence on the defensive side of the ball, look for his stock to continue to grow in the 2024 class.
Highlights
Leslie Minter Jr Leslie Minter Jr 6’5″ | SF Wilson Prep | 2024 State NC . is a prospect that’s due to breakout soon in the 2024 class on the wing. He’s an uber-confident perimeter presence that’s shown he can get hot in a hurry and catch fire from 3-point range. He’s got good length/athleticism to go along with his 6-foot-5 frame as he just scratching the surface of what he can do. He’s a name with Wilson Prep to keep eyes on during the June Live Period.
