Brandon Moore | Prep Hoops Scout
Thomas Johnson is a part of the Big 3 down a at reigning 4A state champ Christ School. He is a versatile offensive player. If you allow him to get down hill, more often that not it will end with him finishing with two points. He is also a versatile shooter with the ability to catch and shoot as well as be a movement shooter. Defensively, he is a pest. He uses good positional awareness and quick hands and feet to create steals and deflections. He also is a good rebounder for his position. He will be another player to keep an eye on during the tournament and for the rest of his season.

Thomas-Johnson remains a hidden gem in NC’s Top 100 as he moves up 20 spots into the 63rd position in the 2024 rankings as Christ School looks to repeat as NCISAA State Champions. He’s a dynamic shooting guard prospect at 6-foot-4 who’s capable of operating in a number of ways given his ability to shoot the ball, rebound and defend multiple roles in space. He’s an unsigned senior prospect with room to grow still in the 2024 class.

is another prospect in the Christ School rotation worthy of attention as he returns looking to have a strong senior campaign. He’s a 6-foot-5 prospect that can operate on the wing as a downhill threat and perimeter presence with his ability to knock down shots at volume and finish with authority at the rim. He’s an underrated name for DI and DII programs in need of a gritty two-way guard/wing presence.

is a prospect due to break out on the wing with The Christ School very soon. He’s a 6-foot-5 prospect that’s shown he can operate with and without the ball in his hands on the wing on offense. He averaged just 5.4 ppg but shot 51 percent from the field on the year in 2022-23. As he shows he can be a presence on the defensive side of the ball, look for his stock to continue to grow in the 2024 class.

Coming off a state championship with the Christ School, junior small forward Lleyton Thomas – Johnson is on the path to a strong senior campaign with the Greenies.
Despite a slow start to the season, Thomas – Johnson saw the floor a decent amount for the Greenies this season and played an important role in their championship run. At 6″4′, he’s long, he’s athletic and can defend. As the season progressed he proved his worth behind the arc, shooting 41 percent from deep. He has a strong presence on the perimeter and can knock down well-guarded shots. Expect Thomas-Johnson to have an even bigger presence on a Christ School roster that will be without a couple of key graduating seniors next season.

Thomas-Johnson is an intriguing prospect in NC’s 2024 class to get to know over at Christ School. He’s a 6-foot-4 prospect that’s shown he can operate off the ball on the wing with his ability to attack cutting lanes for buckets and space the floor with his shooting ability. He’s an under-the-radar prospect to keep an eye on out West this season for the Greenies debuting at No. 51 in the latest rankings update.
