With the first half of the event all wrapped out, here are some players who stood out and raised their stock. Keep a close eye on these hoopers as we head into a stacked summer of basketball!
Guillory showed his ability to score at all three levels, while controlling the pace of the game. He is a player that can heat up quickly and get going early. Once he has the attention of the defense, Guillory demonstrates the ability to set his teammates up for success. Guillory is also a lockdown defender, who uses his athletic ability to stay in front of opposing players on offense. He went off for 23 points in his first game and is set for more big performances as the weekend progresses.
Travon Williams
Travon Williams
Williams is an athletic forward that can run the floor well and finish above the rim in transition. His length and jumping ability allow for him to to get up for dunks in traffic. Williams also has great hands and footwork, which allows him to score often on the inside, while being a glass cleaner on both ends of the floor. On defense, Williams is in the right place at the right time, demonstrating his high basketball IQ. He is also a solid rim protector that opposing players must take account for when going to the basket.
Dylan Jackson

Jackson is a guard that can score the ball in bunches. He went off for 38 points one game , and proved to be much in the clutch, when he hit a game winning three in overtime. In the game before Jackson had 22 points , in which he showed his ability to play within the flow of the game and take what the defense gives him. Jackson is knockdown shooter from three that can create his own shot off the dribble consistently. He has a polished all-around game that includes elite three level scoring ability.
Tyler Johnson
Tyler Johnson
Johnson’s high level scoring ability was on full display, as had 32 points against Imperial. He is a lethal lefty shooter from downtown, which he pairs with a knack for getting into the teeth of the defense. When he gets to the basket, Johnson can finish over taller defenders and make slick dimes to teammates. He is a talented floor general that can smoothly facilitate the offense, or breakdown a defender with a few moves and get to his scoring spots on the floor.

Haywood is a high level forward that gets the job done on both ends of the floor. His ability to score the ball was imminent throughout the day as he had 16 points in the first game and 23 points in the second. He also displays a high motor on defense, which leads to steals and transition dunks for him on the other end, Haywood also showed the ability to hit the Long ball, and the middy, while being able to consistently finish in traffic. Haywood is a player many college coaches should keep an eye on being that he can impact the game in multiple ways.
