went on a couple streaks that gave off pro vibes. His size and body type also scream D1 guard. Shifty, he was patience in 1 on 1 situations and was able to get any defender in front of him turned. I noticed his bounce was a huge factor at the rim and also on his jump shot. Scottie is also a strong kid the doesn’t mind contact on the way to the basket. Lookout for him this year, he’s heavy on my watchlist at the guard position.

is one of the top point guards on the Texas 2025 watchlist. In a showcase where three-point shooting dominated, Scottie’s expertise in the mid-range area set him apart, establishing himself as one of the most dependable scorers in the event. Guillory possessed one of the most graceful pull-up jump shots among all the prospects at the showcase, with impeccable elevation, release point, touch, and fluidity. He was capable of creating and taking a shot whenever he desired, even in tight spaces. Guillory made scoring look effortless at times, and his consistent mid-range shooting proved to be a pivotal aspect of his scoring prowess. He was a true mid-range assassin, and defending against his leaning fadeaway jumper near the baseline was an incredibly challenging task.

a gifted guard with a score first mentality along with the ball skills to spread the ball around, he’s someone that really excels at taking whatever the defense gives him. If Scottie catches fire, his performance ignites the rest of the game. Guillory shows a great ability to get to his spots on a consistent basis. His one-legged fadeaway has proven to be an unstoppable go-to move for him. This move, combined with his downhill attack, oftentimes serves as his bread and butter, especially when all else fails. While executing his signature fadeaway, Scottie’s lean-back and shooting accuracy make it nearly impossible for defenders to block or contest his shot effectively. Along the baseline, Guillory’s shot-making ability is so tough to match and slow down that he will relentlessly attack that spot. He can slice and dice a defense , creating driving angles and exploiting open windows. His aggressive on-ball style of play often results in drawing fouls or finishing with craftiness inside the paint. Guillory shows off his ability to take matters into his own hands every chance he gets, displaying no trouble as he carries the scoring load when it’s needed the most.
