<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I had the opportunity to attend ScoutsFocus All-American Camp this weekend, an event that has had the likes of Andrew Wiggins, Jalen Green, and Dariq Whitehead play in the past. Another impressive crop of guys played this weekend, with over 120 players from 20+ different states. He's a smooth lead guard that sees the game really well and doesn't get sped up by pressure defense or people trying to get up in his jersey. He's got quickness and an ability to get downhill against guards which helps him finish well. He knocked down a couple jumpers as well. Ball screens helped him both showcase his finishing and playmaking ability. He was great moving on penetration and getting to where he could hit a kick out three, or even come off baseline actions to get one as well. He was a 40% shooter on the EYCL this spring, and showed why yesterday. His size is a bit of a concern as he can't guard too many positions, and he didn't show off a lot of playmaking ability, but there's no denying he was a top shooter in the camp. He was incredibly poised playing the point for his team, doing lots of damage out of ballscreens and getting paint touches himself. He knew he wasn't finishing consistently over players 6 inches taller than him and more, so he found ways to facilitate and draw in the help to set up his teammates. He also knocked down a few threes and other jumpers when he found the right opportunity. He's a guy who should quickly make an impact on the high school scene with his composure and patience handling the ball and distributing it.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1772438"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Minter has been a pretty known commodity at state level for a while, but he did what he did well in front of college coaches and should have more interest coming soon. He's long, athletic and bouncy which is always going to make him a threat in traffic and transition. However, what he does well is making sure his offensive game is well-rounded, as he's a big time shot taker and maker. He knocks down jumpers all over the floor, including some really difficult pull ups. His defensive game translates well too, using his tools and frame to cause issues for opposing players to get their shots off easily. The winner of the camp dunk contest pulled out some impressive finishes in traffic and made his presence known on the other end. Athleticism is what he predicates his game on, with an ability to jump in transition and push the ball himself if needed. Defensively, he gets back and guards multiple positions, and can come over as a help side shot blocker and wreak havoc. He also does well on the glass with the same athleticism. He's got work to do on his jumper and spacing the floor well, but his physicality and running in transition is something for schools to take notice of and put him on their boards.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-647ca2a906760"} /-->
