Weaver has been known for his athleticism and highlight dunks but the rest of his game shows a ton of growth from where it was last summer. He’s now shooting the three at a high clip, 5/8 on Saturday morning and has added some shot creation ability as well. Looking at the way he’s developed and the long term potential, I’m buying stock in Weaver now.

Many would argue that Caleb Holt is the best 2026 in the southeast, maybe the country and he played like it this weekend. Against Wheeler, Holt was all over the floor making plays. Holt is extremely versatile at 6’5, capable of guarding multiple positions and scoring in different ways on the offensive end. He plays with a high motor which you love to see in high-major guys and effects every facet of the game. Holt already has a lengthy list of offers and this weekend was only reassurance for those schools.
Highlights
Bishop Boswell may have been the most college-ready guard I saw this weekend, physically dominating other guards and playing with a great deal of maturity. He’s a strong ball-handler that can beat defenders off the dribble and get to the cup, also showed off a consistent three-point shot. He’s vocal as a floor general, the kind of leader you want on the floor. Boswell already carries a long list of high-major offers and added Missouri after his weekend in Atlanta.
As McDonough graduates a strong 2023 class, Keenan Gray Keenan Gray 6’2″ | SG McDonough | 2024 State GA returns as the new frontman alongside some intriguing 2025 talent. Gray started the day with an impressive 19-point outing against Rockledge and then led McDonough to a win over Walnut Grove in the 2nd game where Gray was also the catalyst. He’s a slashing guard that can finish strong going either way, threw down a couple of strong dunks as well. The 2024 combo guard is worth a hard look for LM/D2 programs.
Luke Jack Luke Jack 6’6″ | PG Creekview | 2025 State GA only played one half on Sunday, going down with a nasty tailbone bruise, but that half was enough to label him a standout. Jack came out firing against Buford and had 17 of Creekview’s 30 points at the half, also a 6 point lead. He has great size for a point guard at 6’5 that allows him to finish at the rim and get his pull-up jumper off over contesting hands. Jack is silky smooth in the open floor and plays very much under control, a smart decision maker too. While Creekview may not be playing on the main court too often, Luke Jack Luke Jack 6’6″ | PG Creekview | 2025 State GA is worth the walk for LM/MM coaches.
