He's also a guy that utilizes high-arching shots inside the key, either with pullup floaters, or with shots high off the backboard, showing soft touch at the rim. There are a lot of little things he does on the floor and much of it is due to his court awareness and ability to see and attack space. He's made some good improvements defensively as well and has really shown to be a complete backcourt player.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1450931"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"u003cemu003ePrev Rank: 75 (+33)u003c/emu003ernrnFloyd made a lot of improvements in the last high school season, enough to warrant a big rise in the rankings and he hasn't stopped that ascent yet. He's a big guard at 6-foot-4 who looks stronger in almost every way. The lift he gets on his jumper makes it a really tough shot to contest, he's an outstanding rebounding guard, and he has shown a better ability to finish above defenders at the rim. There is a lot to like about his game and if he continues to improve at this rate, he will be a key guy to watch up north next high school season.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1837761"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"u003cemu003ePrev Rank: 90 (+32)u003c/emu003ernrnCollins is a prime-time athlete that plays with the intention to attack, attack, attack. He's got a motor that doesn't seem to fade and has the skillset to take advantage of opposing guards on the perimeter or at the rim. He's incredibly bouncy and powerful when attacking the rim and has a sweet shot from behind the arc. He has elite quickness that makes him a factor on both ends of the court and seems to play with a top-dog mentality.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1837765"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_player_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"u003cemu003ePrev Rank: 108 (+28)u003c/emu003ernrnThis guy is a rising playmaker that has incredible ability to breakdown defenders and make passes only he can see. He has been a key guy for BDH Elite this spring, getting penetration, drawing two, three, four defenders into the paint and then finding quick passes to diving bigs or kick outs to awaiting shooters. Manning-Blanks is also an imposing figure at guard who has the strength to finish through traffic and play physical defense on the other end.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1688028"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_player_featured_image":1955376,"_player_evaluations_4_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"u003cemu003ePrev Rank: 109 (+27)u003c/emu003ernrnAnderson has been a solid sharpshooting, rebounding wing in past years but he seems to have taken that next leap this spring and filled in the gaps in his game. He's more aggressive getting to the cup, beating guys off the dribble with more ease, and incorporating a more varied shot selection that has helped him become a much more elusive scorer. He still has the big body and can muscle up inside, but he's a much more diverse offensive threat, especially with the ball in his hands.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["1612242"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"u003cemu003ePrev Rank: 79 (+26)u003c/emu003ernrnStephens was new to the varsity squad at Tahoma last season and he showed a lot of flashes of the ability to be a high-level two-way wing. But after watching him this spring it seems like those flashes have become the norm. He has great burst to jump passing lanes on defense, take it down the other way and finish with authority. He's shown better consistency with the jumper, specifically working out of the mid-range and incorporating a good pullup. But he's also continued to make plays for others and has real potential to develop as a passer as the summer goes on.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["1612215"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"u003cemu003ePrev Rank: 95 (+24)u003c/emu003ernrnWilcher is another guy who's past flashes are becoming the norm. He's a strong guard who exhibits excellent balance, can rise up into his jumper efficiently from the dribble, and rarely is rushed into a shot. It almost looks like he's designed his game around that strength and balance, playing a lot off of two feet in the paint, and showing a controlled attack while still being able to pull away from defenders and create shooting windows. Wilcher is a pretty smart player too and I would watch him this winter as a guy who could really step up and bust out in his senior season.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_player":["1612241"],"_player_evaluations_7_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"u003cemu003ePrev Rank: 69 (+18)u003c/emu003ernrnBrown is one of the best in his class at hunting down offensive rebounds and using a quick jump, long arms, and deft touch, to clean up all sorts of shots off the rim. I've said it before, but he just a guy that seems to always find himself in the right spots. Call it intuition, instinct, good court awareness, Brown has it. He's been improving his ability to take guys off the dribble and shoot the three, making him more of a well-rounded threat offensively.","_player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_8_player":["1612213"],"_player_evaluations_8_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_8_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_8_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_8_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_8_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_8_evaluation":"u003cemu003ePrev Rank: 104 (+14)u003c/emu003ernrnI liked this kid a lot going into last season, and now seeing him again this spring with Seattle Rotary, it's clear he's a lot stronger and more athletic than I had realized. He's a guy that is counted on to do a lot at Peninsula, running the point at times, shouldering a heavy scoring load, and creating a lot of action with the dribble. I think there's still some work for him to do rounding out his game, but he's an incredibly skilled guard that should be able to flourish this coming winter.","_player_evaluations_8_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":9,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-647becd1e288d"} /-->

These guys have made the biggest jumps in the latest update of the 2024 rankings. I've been able to see these guys at a handful of events over the spring season and it's clear they were overlooked in previous rankings, as well as showing some improved poise that often comes with getting a year older. Check out the guys making the biggest jumps in this update before they really burst out this winter.
