Mirgon plays years beyond his age. He runs point guard for Midwest-3SSB and does it very well. A selfless player with incredible vision. He is always hitting the right player and keeps the ball moving. He gets into the lane a lot and kicks it to the open player. His IQ was impressive. Just understands the game. Very mature game. He did not shoot the ball a lot it was a good looking stroke. Sometimes he might need to be more selfish to help his team win but I’d rather have a point guard I need to tell to shoot more than pass more. Sneaky and athletic as well. The quick first step and built well.
Washington is going to be a really good player. He is so dang athletic. He jumps out of the gym already, kids got some real springs on his feet. He is a super long player and turns up his defense great from time to time. Wish I could see it more consistently but when he wants to, you will not score on him. His ball pressure is phenomenal. Offensively, he won’t wow you with his skill but he gets to the rim very often and is super efficient. He gets very high on his finishes it is hard to contest. You also can’t leave him open because he will make you pay for it.
Highlights
Ruffin is a bucket-getter. Very skilled bucket-getter. He showcased great moves to get himself opportunities to score. He has a very tight handle on the ball with a plethora of moves and shiftiness to get him to the rim. He can score from every level but is a downhill attack basket player. I’d like to see him gain more court vision when driving. A super skilled player who just goes out there and hoops. He also has some really quick hands defensively.

Breckett Bertke
Breckett Bertke
Bertke showed some great offensive skills for the Buckets this weekend. Just flat outscored. A three-level scorer and does a great job of operating in the midrange. He has got great sizes for his positions as well. Listed at 6’3 and has a good body that was showcased when he was attacking the rim. He was absorbing contact and not getting bumped off his attacking angle. Played very hard as well.
