His team came up short, but Ayden was dominant while playing up a year against a tough Chapman Academy team. Before even touching the ball Ayden was winning the battle by establishing deep position and sealing his man on the back to make it easier for his guards to feed him. From there all it took was a simple shoulder turn and finish. Ayden finished equally as well with either hand, making him more unpredictable as he could turn over either shoulder based on how his defender was positioned. Was always finding a body to box out and it allowed him to secure just about every missed shot that came his way, including a few offensive boards leading to putback buckets.
Kai had moments of dominance throughout the weekend, particularly on Friday night against Wisconsin Playmakers. He was quick off the floor, able to dunk just about everything in the paint including a few dunks in traffic. Showed the skill to handle it a bit in the open floor while also having improved footwork to create with his back to the basket down low. Defensively he was blocking multiple shots every game while his presence alone seemed to alter countless other shots.
Gavin was matched up with a pair of high major post prospects on Friday night, but I was still impressed with the flashes he showed. He was fearless attacking the basket and trying to dunk on size, earning some free throw opportunities in the process. Moves really well with some explosive athleticism at 6’9. Showed he can also step outside and knock down the outside jumper when given space. Works hard on the glass and holding his ground in the paint defensively. Gavin has a ton of potential moving forward as part of a loaded 2025 class in Wisconsin.

Omar is an emerging post prospect in Minnesota’s 2025 class. He has a long frame at 6’7, solid footwork, and good touch to finish from a variety of angles. Earned his looks around the rim in a variety of ways as he could attack off the dribble, catch on the block, or scrap for offensive rebounds. Also leaked out for a transition dunk in the second half of the game I watched. Defensively he’s quick off the floor to block shots and also does a nice job of walling up to stay out of foul trouble when contesting.
Andrew was a big time rim protector for All Wisconsin. Against a talented Wisconsin PGC team he had some highlight reel blocks, even meeting an explosive athlete at the rim and sending the dunk attempt flying away. It’s already rare to see a freshman standing at 6’9, but it’s even more rare to see one who can move like Andrew does. He can beat opposing bigs up the floor, and also quickly get off the ground as he showed with an emphatic two hand slam off an offensive board. Showed some skill on the ball as well, beating his man from the wing and then finishing with his left hand at the rim.
One thing that always sticks out when I watch Lake play is that he’s always balanced when he goes up to finish. He’s never forcing up an off-balanced shot, and because of that he finishes at such a high percentage around the basket. At 6’6 he has some strength and athleticism that allow him to rebound the ball at a high level while also defending in the paint and some on the perimeter. He’s good at cutting off the ball to create chances for himself, and has safe hands to catch and secure the ball in traffic before going up to finish.

Justin had a nice game in a win for Fox Valley Kings on Friday night. The stretch four caught fire from three in the first half and help put his team ahead for good. At 6’4 he has a lightning quick release and range that extended to well beyond the high school arc, forcing opposing forwards to come out and defend him tight on the perimeter. Once he knocked a few down he kept defenders honest mixing in some shot and pass fakes that got defenders jumping and allowed him to pass and move to put the defense in difficult spots. Nice weekend from the Neenah forward.
