Amari Allen – 2025 – SF – Wisconsin Playground Club
Allen just lived at the rim the entire weekend. The former Kaukauna standout used his 6-foot-6 frame really well to shield and power through defenders. Playing a lot on the ball for PGC, Allen was terrific at getting downhill, particularly in the pick n’ roll and finishing with either hand. When Allen gets the rock in transition, he’s just a runaway freight train with a rare blend of size, skill, and power in the open floor. Allen had two games where just carried PGC offensively, including 21 against Indiana Elite where Allen scored 19 in the second half alone. Still kind of waiting for Allen to develop that consistency in his jump shot, but he showed some really good flashes when sizing guys up and pulling up off the dribble in the 16-18 foot range. Also, there wasn’t many defenders who were capable of staying between Allen and the rim and he just would rarely settle anyway.
Jamarion Batemon Jamarion Batemon 6'3" | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2025 State #174 Nation WI – 2025 – G – Power 5
Kind of saw it coming last season, but Batemon is arriving quicker than even I anticipated. Might have Batemon as the fastest-rising prospect in the 2025 class right now. The Milwaukee Academy of Science guard is likely in position for a top five ranking in what’s a very competitive top 20 overall. Batemon just shots the lights out against high-level competition all weekend. In pool play alone his worst game was 22 points. A plus-length guard with unlimited range and who can now take you into the 12-18 foot area and score off the dribble, Batemon’s got a flamethrower out on the floor. Don’t sleep on the defense either. Batemon might be one of the best defenders in the sophomore class with his ability to just sit down and slide his feet. Even if you get on his hip, Batemon’s got some ridiculous length to help him recover.
Devin Brown Devin Brown 6'7" | PF Milwaukee Academy Of Science | 2025 State #196 Nation WI – 2025 – PF – Power 5
Brown might be developing into more of a combo forward. He continues to show major flashes in transition and from the top of the key as a ballhandler. The 6-foot-7 forward had some terrific moments where he could cross over defenders from right to left and finish with his off hand. Brown is very good at going to his left and getting defenders to play his strong hand initially, only to come back with a spin in the paint. Getting more comfortable as a shooter, Brown is starting to size defenders up and just rise up over the top. A high energy, impact prospect, Brown’s going to give him team rim protection, rebounding, and momentum-changing blocks on the other end as well.
Stevie Clark Stevie Clark 6'6" | SF Oshkosh North | 2024 State #322 Nation WI – 2024 – SF – Wisconsin Playground Club
Clark dropped 30 points on opening night and was very good throughout the rest of the weekend. Thought early in his career, Clark would sort of fizzle out and others would catch up to him, but that just hasn’t happened. He was fairly advanced physically and skills-wise as a freshman and sophomore, but Clark continues to add to his game. He’s even gotten more athletic, showing that with a massive poster dunk on opening night. Now a swiss-army knife as a scorer, Clark can take you inside and out, go coast-to-coast in transition, score off balance and fall away from the hole, or set up shop on the block in the halfcourt. Now almost an automatic shooter from anywhere on the floor when he gets in rhythm, Clark continues to be a strong mid-major prospect. Given his all-around scoring ability and point-wing skills, he’s a nice plug n’ play prospect that will fit in just about any roster and system. You’ve seen that in high school and AAU with Clark’s ability to shine next to a ball-dominant point guard and a ball-dominant forward.

Henry Gruetzemacher – 2026 – F – 24UP
Had to check out Gruetzemacher on film, but was a little familiar with the freshman forward having seen some Brookfield Central JV games last season. A good-looking 6-5/6-6 forward with mobility and skill, Gruetzemacher projects well in the long run. You can move Gruetzemacher around a lot. He’s able to set screens for others on the perimeter and then dive hard to the rim. When he catches on the block, Gruetzemacher’s not a black hole down there. He’s very cognizant of the double teams and a willing passer. Defensively, Gruetzemacher has the length and lateral quickness to defend multiple positions. Knowing the family and seeing his body type, doubt Gruetzemacher is even close to plateuing physically. Not quite sure what he is just yet, but Gruetzemacher is definitely a well-rounded forward prospect who has a chance to write a good story for himself. When the first 2026 rankings come out, I’d anticipate Gruetzemacher in a favorable spot.
Zach Kinziger Zach Kinziger 6'3" | SG De Pere | 2025 State #127 Nation WI – 2025 – SG – Team Herro
Kinziger had 61 points in two games on Sunday as Team Herro made it to the 16U Final Four. If all five of your defenders aren’t locked in, it can be a long day. Kinziger is just a relentless scoring threat that’s not taking plays off. He’s going to catch in favorable areas, dribble with a purpose, and/or run through screens until something pops. An extremely efficient two-guard with a deep bag of tools, Kinziger’s capable of taking whatever you want to give him defensively. The way he’s able to process reads and coverages on the go is just next level stuff. You pair all that with his assassain-like sniper ability as a shooter, sometimes you just have to hope he misses. Somehow, Kinziger still has energy to bring it on the defensive end. Saw in the semifinal loss to Mac Irvin Fire, he was locking some bigger athletes down. I know mid-majors will eventually run in here hard, but at 6-foot-3, I’m betting there’s a good chance Kinziger can play at the highest level.
Connor Roffers Connor Roffers 6'5" | SG Burlington | 2024 State WI – 2024 – W – MTXE Premier
Continue to be impressed with the way Roffers just shoots the ball. He’s more than a shooter, but Roffers has a high understanding of what’s going to make him successful on the floor. You just can’t leave him as a defender as Roffers is a threat anytime he catches the ball. He’s equally smooth and decisive coming off screens or with his pump fake, one-dribble jumper. The best part of his shooting might come out in the pick n’ roll. Roffers likes to bait defenders into going under screens and he’s very efficient in that action. At 6-foot-5, you’re starting to see Roffers be more of a slasher and get to the foul line as well. With Burlington’s roster clearing out next season, wouldn’t be surprised to see Roffer’s numbers take a big jump.

T.J. Stuttley – 2025 – G/W – Wisconsin Playground Club
It’s felt like playing next to Allen, who likes to do a lot of similar things, has been an adjustment for Stutley, but thought he got back to his usual self in Fort Wayne. A very attack oriented guard/wing, Stuttley can battles tunnel vision at times and needs work on his shot selection, but saw improvements in those areas — knowing when to attack the cup, give the ball up to a shooter, or settle in the mid-range. Stuttley’s a point-wing who can really thrive as a mid-range pull-up shooter. He’ll knock down off-balance jumpers on a regular basis and really use that 6-foot-5 frame to his advantage. When he wants to, Stuttley can also be an impact defender. There’s a noticeable grittiness and intensity that he plays with at times and that started to be more consistent in some of the more physical games that PGC was involved in.
