Bishop Boswell Bishop Boswell 6’4″ | PG Myers Park | 2024 State #68 Nation NC is having quite the start to Team CP3’s EYBL campaign as he’s shown off his combo guard skills in the backcourt. He’s putting up 14.9 ppg, 5.6 rpg and 5.3 apg while shooting 40 percent from the field and 57 percent from the field through their first seven games. He’s a name that’s expected to grow as he plays alongside a trio of ACC commits in the Team CP3 rotation.
Desmond Kent Jr Desmond Kent Jr 6’5″ | SF Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC is a prospect that continues to improve over time with BSA Supreme/Central Cabarrus High. Fresh off a 3A state title, Kent is shown he can pick up where he left off, using his length/athleticism to pace the wing/frontcourt attack for his squad. He was pivotal in their victory over a tough Team Trezz squad at Phenom Live in Raleigh on Saturday and showed he could operate inside and out with his abilities at 6-foot-5. Lees-McRae extended an offer his direction after his play yesterday.
Tyler Showalter Tyler Showalter 6’6″ | SF Butler | 2024 State NC is another member of the BSA Supreme squad that continues to shine alongside Desmond Kent Jr Desmond Kent Jr 6’5″ | SF Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC . He’s a 6-foot-7 prospect that plays tough nosed around the rim/paint as a finisher and rebounder and can also step out and knock down shots in the high post and on the perimeter. He’s a prospect out of Butler High that DII programs in the region should get eyes on given his skill set.
Highlights
Maurio Hanson Maurio Hanson 6’7″ | PF JL Chambers | 2024 State NC is another prospect with Team CP3 that’s starting to turn a corner with his development. He’s a patient forward prospect that can handle the ball off rebounds and make plays with his versatility just as well as he uses his frame on the interior to make things happen around the rim. He’s putting up 8.9 ppg and 4.6 rpg on 53.1 percent shooting from the floor in EYBL action.
Highlights
Tyler Barnes is a name that continues to show his improvement on both ends of the floor since returning from injury this past summer. The knee brace is gone and he’s moving better than ever as he shows he can knock down shots off the bounce, defend at a high level and finish in traffic. He’s another wiry guard for DII programs in the region to get eyes on.
Jaylen Claggett Jaylen Claggett 6’3″ | CG Cannon School | 2025 State NC is yet another name from BSA Supreme that also attends Cannon School for college coaches to get eyes on. He’s an aggressive guard that’s really improved on his frame in the weight room and it’s shown in his play on the floor. He gets the ball up the floor quickly and can get hot in a hurry in the mid-range and on the perimeter with his shooting ability.
