Saddiq Alarbesh 5’9 SG, Napa Christian, NBBA 15U UA Rise
He was probably the best shooter in the 15u age group on Saturday, knocking down multiple open 3pt shots (5) in game one, he added a few more in game two. Sunday everyone knew he had to be defended coming across half-court. If he gets into a rhythm look out. He didn’t put up bad shots, he made a couple of contested ones with hand in face. He has some handles and passing skills.
Khalil Bernard 6’1 G, Deer Valley, WCE EB
He’s an athletic prospect with good hops to go after rebounds, and finish above defenders, and strong around the rim at 15U. He made good moves working from the high and mid post area using a dribble or two for points in the paint, including a jumper He had plenty of rebounds, then showed he could handle in transition sometimes going coast to coast.
Tyler Smith 5’6 PG, San Ramon Valley, Lakeshow 15’s
The 5’6 PG plays on go. Smith fits the undersized point guard role that causes all kinds of problems when he has the ball. He has superb ball handling skills, his vision with no look passing was impressive, teammates have to be ready, he’ll see cutters, shooters. He’s fast in transition, he might pull-up and drop a 3. He’s fun to watch, we’ll see more in the spring and when he gets to the Varsity.
Chase Robinson 6’4 G/W, Clayton Valley Charter NorCal Elite
He’s a long thin prospect with an improving skill set. He handled the ball well in transition looking to pass it or take it all the way. He had good moves working on the perimeter creating shots for himself, sometimes slicing his way into the paint. He hit the mid-range off the dribble, looks for his 3pt shot. He has long arms to get a hand in face on shooters. With a good spring and summer he should receive more playing time on the Varsity next season.
Luke Galer 6’5 W/F, Del Oro, YBA Rize 16U
He has a good size body, plays hard and will get on the floor for loose balls. He has some offensive skills to work with. We only saw one game. He handles the ball in transition and on the perimeter, taking it strong towards the basket. He’ll finish around the basket. At 6’5 he makes a good effort to defend on the perimeter and inside with his long arms. He’s on the Wright’s Watch List
Vince Ellis Vince Ellis 6'2" | CG Clayton Valley Charter | 2026 State CA-N 6’0 CG, Clayton Valley Charter, NorCal Elite.
He’s a rising prospect, and one of the few 2026’s who played up in the 17U Platinum. He handles himself well on the court. He’s a steady prospect who can run both guard positions. He handles and passes with good vision, he’s a mover without the ball, screening and cutting a lot. He’ll take advantage of his scoring opportunities with good drives into the paint, and pull-up jumpers. He has good lateral movement.
