Isaac has recently committed to play basketball at BYU and with that said he showed a lot of reasons why he was such a coveted player not only for BYU but across the country. Isaac had a few moments where he would get ahead f the pack and just out run other bigs. He finished some sweet dunks and then he was doing what everyone likes to see him do and that is distribute. He is such a willing passer that he catches that ball in the middle and he creates with his vision as he sees players cut and with some attack moves as he is such a willing passer that he drives and kicks to so many shooters he has on the this Utah Prospects team. This team is loaded so he is not out there gassed, he actually gets rest and plays with some great energy. Helped his team go 3-1 and they look to continue rolling this coming week in Texas.
Alijah Arenas
Alijah Arenas
Welcome to the circuit young fella. Alijah was playing at a high level and with his team battling back and forth in a close game he started to take over slowly by getting to the rim and either drawing a foul or getting a put back. It was really a slow process as he let the game come to him but he was aggressive working in many ways to affect the game. Late in the game the team went to him and he hit a shot at the buzzer that might have actually gave birth to his game and legend as he looks to make a name for himself as the son of Gilbert Arenas. Look fo rthis kid to really take the next step in his development. This kid has a bright future.
Mason was in his bag this past weekend as he was hitting jumpers from all over and he was hitting off the bounce, spot up and full-speed stop and go. Impressive form and with an elite release. He elevates on his shot and he always finds a way to square up and knock them down. Mason has been racking up. those MM/LM offers and he picked up another solid offer this past weekend from Cal Poly. With size and athleticism and elite shooting ability this kid will be a big time prospect especially with his positional size.
Highlights
This Nor Cal product is starting to really come into his own and his strength has caught up with that early growth. Max is likely +2 or more on his reach as he just blocks shots so casually. With his height and strength it is easy to forget that he is playing up a grade on the 16U team. He is really smooth around the rim and in the paint he is a glass cleaner. Look for him to continue to play at a high level this next Live Period. He has a lot of potential as a stretch big.
