There were over 30 teams ranging from 17U-15U, with some of the top teams in the area taking place.
We will be spending the next week breaking down the many standouts we saw at the event. If you want to watch the replay, you can see it on the CBG Live Network.
Here’s a look at some of the many 15U standouts from the DMV and NC teams in the event.
Neiko Mundey Neiko Mundey 6'2" | PG Shabach Christian | 2026 State MD | 6’2” CG | New World
Mundey was a standout at The Platform last year and showed flashes as a freshman at Good Counsel this year, and he keeps producing at a high level and will likely be one of the top players in the DMV over the next few years. The 6’2” combo guard has a knack for making tough shots at he has range from deep off the catch or the bounce, he has a strong frame to get in the paint and play through contact and he is the type of player that wants the ball in his hands with the game on the line. He’s continuing to round out his game and he has a toughness and swagger about him that’s easy to like.
Jalyn Collingwood Jalyn Collingwood 6'5" | SF Bishop McNamara | 2026 State MD | 6’6” F | New World
Collingwood is another intriguing young prospect for this New World group that saw his role grow throughout the year with Bishop McNamara and is showing great strides in development so far in his career. The 6’6” forward is a good athlete who is still growing and has a great basketball frame, he gets up and down and uses his athleticism to finish and rebound and he’s improving on his consistency from behind the arc. He really shines defensively, as he can guard almost every position on the floor.
Sean Harvey Sean Harvey 6'2" | SG Severn | 2026 State MD | 6’2” CG | DC Premier
Harvey was a standout player for a Premier team that showed a lot of talent, and he was the straw that stirred the drink for them in their biggest games. The 6’2” combo is strong with the ball and handles pressure well while making good decisions, he really shoots it from deep with confidence and a quick release and he can put pressure on the defense off the bounce. He’s a well-rounded guard who is mature beyond his years and has a great skillset to develop with.
JJ Addison | 6’6” F | Team Durant
Addison was one of the most intriguing prospects in the 15U division, as the 6’6” forward is a Swiss-army knife with a lot of tools that are encouraging moving forward. He can play both on the perimeter and in the paint with his length and athleticism, he has solid ball skills as he can put it on the deck and make shots from deep and he is a versatile defender who can guard multiple positions. He has a lot of upside moving forward and is part of a young Bishop O’Connell group that has a very bright future if they stay together.
Silas Devonish | 5’9” PG | Team Durant
Devonish may not be the biggest guy when he steps on the floor, but he can flat out play and impacts the game on both ends of the floor with his tenacity and skillset. At 5’9” he has blazing speed in transition and is very quick moving laterally on the defensive end, he is a very talented shot maker who can create space and has a quick release from deep and he can get downhill where he’s able to draw contact and get to the line a lot. While he can go through cold streaks at times, he has the ability to turn it on and take over games in the blink of an eye when he gets it going.
Tyrease Hunter | 6’3” PG | Team Loaded NC
Hunter was the breakout player in the 15U division as the Hopewell (VA) guard showed his ability to score it in bunches and make plays for others with the ball in his hands. He put up big time numbers scoring the ball as he showcased his three level scoring ability making tough shots off the bounce, getting to the rim and pushing the ball in transition where he could finish or make plays for his athletic wings. He is a “go-getter” type of guard who gets after it and knows how to score the ball in a lot of different ways.
Cade Murphy | 6’6” WF | Team Loaded NC
Murphy is one to keep an eye on, as the Tennessee native has a lot of tools that should translate as he continues to develop moving forward. He has great positional size on the wing and a frame that should fill out, he shoots the ball well from deep with a quick release and consistent form and he plays with a good motor and competes on both ends. He has a lot of upside and should be one that coaches start to look at soon.
