Jacari Brim Jacari Brim 6’2″ | PG West Forsyth | 2025 State NC is the ultimate combo guard that plays with a ton of energy on the hardwood out of West Forsyth High to keep an eye on in the 2025 class. He moves into the 16th spot in the latest update following an impressive sophomore campaign in the Titans’ backcourt as their lead guard. He showed he could fill up the stat sheet in a hurry with numbers of 17.0 ppg, 8.3 apg, 6.5 rpg and 2.7 spg on 55 percent shooting from the field and 47 percent shooting from behind the arc in 2022-23. He’s a lethal presence getting downhill as well as a knockdown catch-and-shoot threat on the perimeter that plays with a ton of confidence with the ball in his hands. He’s a name to keep an eye on with Garner Road on the 3SSB circuit this grassroots cycle.
Rodmik Allen Rodmik Allen 5’10” | PG New Hanover | 2025 State NC is another lead guard to get to know in the 2025 class out of New Hanover High after leading his squad to a 26-3 record and 15-0 conference slate in 2022-23. He’s an aggressive guard that can get downhill and finish strong in the paint as well as make plays for his teammates. He led his squad in scoring (13.6 ppg) and assists (3.7 apg) during his sophomore season. He’s a relentless driver with the ball in his hands that can score it with confidence. As he improves on his strength and shooting consistency, look for his name to grow in the state. He’ll run with WBC Elite on the grassroots scene this spring/summer.
Hendersonville High had themselves quite the season, finishing with a 25-4 record and going 11-1 in the Mountain Foothills Conference in the 2A West ranks, overtaking rival RS-Central with Malachi Simpson Malachi Simpson 6’6″ | SF Hendersonville | 2025 State NC leading the charge. He moves 30 spots up to the 26th spot in the latest 2025 rankings. He’s a lengthy wing/forward prospect at 6-foot-6 that’s starting to show his growth on the hardwood. He finished his sophomore campaign with 20.0 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 2.5 spg, 2.1 apg and 1.0 bpg on 55 percent shooting from the field in 2022-23. He’s a prospect that knows how to play with a motor on both ends of floor, utilizing his length to make an impact in the frontcourt and on the perimeter. He’s a name to watch with Next Level Prospects Basketball this grassroots cycle.

Nathan Fife Nathan Fife 6’0″ | PG Sanderson | 2025 State NC is a floor general that continues to show off his growth in the Sanderson High backcourt as he moves into the 33rd spot in the latest rankings update. He led the Spartans in assists (4.8 apg), scoring (20.6 ppg) and finished second in rebounds (5.6 rpg) to show off his ability to set the tone with his play on both ends of the floor. He’s a heady point guard that knows how to put pressure on his opponents with his ability to attack the paint/midrange with his shooting stroke. As he improves on his shot-making on the perimeter, look for his name to grow with Scott Wood Elite out of the 919 area this grassroots season.
Tre McKinnon Tre McKinnon 6’5″ | SF Lake Norman High | 2025 State NC was another name at Lake Norman High that saw his stock rise in the 2025 rankings. McKinnon is an active prospect on the wing that has a bright future ahead of him that put up 14.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 1.6 spg and 1.1 apg in 2022-23 as they finished 19-8 and 11-1 in the conference season. He’s an athletic presence that likes to get out and make things happen in space. As he shows off his ability to handle the ball and knock down shots on the perimeter, he’s a name to keep an eye on in the 704 area. He’ll be a name to keep eyes on this grassroots season.

Chris Eagan Chris Eagan 6’8″ | PF Charlotte Catholic | 2025 State NC is a versatile forward name to get to know with Charlotte Catholic High School. He did some damage in the Cougars’ frontcourt off the bench in 2022-23, averaging 5.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg and 1.0 apg as a sophomore. He plays with a ton of energy on the glass and rim-protecting front already given his length at 6-foot-8. He’s set to have a productive summer as a bigger role is on the horizon for him int the Cougars’ frontcourt going forward. He’ll be a name to keep eyes on on the EYBL scene with Team Curry on the grassroots cycle.
