We continue with a look at part two of some of the many standouts from the D-IV semifinals and finals.

[player_tooltip player_id='999646' first='Chris' last='Cyrus'] | 6'3” W | Hampton Christian '23

Cyrus was fantastic for Hampton Christian, leading them to a close win over Carlisle in the semifinals and almost leading them to a win over Banner Christian in the championship. The 6'3” wing showed his athleticism as he got out in transition and finished above the rim, he made shots from deep and in the midrange and he got to the free throw line on his way to being the leading scorer in the D-IV Final Four.

Sean O'Conner | 6'5” C | Hampton Christian '23

O'Conner was great for Hampton Christian, as he provided an inside presence at his size and he was very productive in their win over Carlisle. The 6'5” center was great in the post as he showed good hands to make tough catches and finished with touch and consistency, he protected the paint and rebounded well and he was great as a screener to help get guys open both on and off the ball.

Bryce Harris | 5'11” G | Hampton Christian '27

Harris didn't play in their semifinal win over Carlisle, and it made me wonder if they were keeping the eighth grader as a secret weapon in the championship game because he came in and made a huge impact. He showed a great skillset as he made multiple shots from deep, he put it on the deck and made floaters in the midrange and he made good decisions and didn't turn it over.

Branson Leduc-Mattox | 6'2” W | Carlisle '25

Carlisle is a team that will definitely be back, as most of their production came from underclassmen and they played like seasoned vets, and Leduc-Mattox was one of the more productive players in the entire event. The 6'2” wing played with a good motor and rebounded and pushed the ball in transition where he finished above the rim, he got the rim and got to spots in the midrange to score it in the half court and he put up big numbers in the defeat.

Jameer Reynolds | 6'4” F | Carlisle '25

Reynolds is an intriguing prospect out of Martinsville, as the 6'4” forward has good physical and athletic tools and a lot of room to continue to grow moving forward. He showed his athleticism with some impressive rebounds and blocks, he showed toughness banging in the paint and guarding multiple positions and he has a solid perimeter skillset that will only get better moving forward.

Trey Beamer | 6'1” PG | Carlisle ‘26

Beamer was one of the most productive freshman in the state this year breaking the VISAA scoring record for a freshman, and he had a coming out party on the biggest stage of the year. The 6'1” point guard showed a lot of promise as he's a quick and skilled guard who can create off the bounce for himself and others, he knocks down shots from deep consistently and made big shots with the game on the line and he plays with a lot of poise for a freshman point guard on this stage.
