Greer is a unique prospect as the center also dominates on the gridiron as an offensive lineman. One of the most skilled freshman I’ve seen from the center position, Greer has an old school game with a lot of his production coming with his back to the basket. Greer can shoot over his left shoulder, make passes out the post and is physical with weaker big men. I’ll be curious to see how Greer develops as a multi-sport athlete but he’s already a basketball state champion after just his freshman season.
Bowens is an athletic big who was productive for Reynoldsburg this winter. It’ll be interesting to see how Bowens develops his all-around game or if he grows over the next few years. Right now, Bowens is productive because of his motor, athleticism and strength. Should be an impact player for All Ohio Sumner this spring and summer on the EYBL circuit.
Horton is a productive back to the basket post scorer who uses both hands to finish at the rim. I hope Horton grows as tall as his older brother is, who stands around 6’9, 6’10 already. Alan played solid minutes for Northview this season and projects as one of their key pieces as a sophomore. The Ohio Buckets 2026 group has a lot of talent and I’m excited to see them compete this spring and summer.
Another multi-sport athlete, Albers, like Greer, also stands out on the gridiron. Albers has good size and finishes around the paint with his strength. I thought Albers showed good touch with either hand at the rim. A key for him will be improving his explosiveness off the ground to help him finish at the rim and block more shots than he already does. Catch Albers with Phenom United this spring and summer.
