He is one of those players that you watch and want him to have the ball in his hands. Good things happen when he does. He is a lights out shooter with serious range. He plays the game with a high basketball IQ and makes the right decisions. He is a strong player who plays with a lot of toughness. He handles the ball well, can get into the lane and his shooting is elite level. The type of player you want on your team with his toughness and will to win.
He is a walking bucket. He has had over 40 points four times this season. He averaged 27 and surpassed the 1,000 points mark earlier in the season. He also broke the school’s all time scoring record for career points last night. He is only a junior. When his team needs a bucket, he will likely deliver. He makes some tough shots, and when the defense cheats, he will find his mates for buckets. Clutch player who hit a game winner on a shot that not lot of players could make. He shoots it at a high percentage from three and can get buckets from anywhere. He even added a couple dunks this season which shows the leap he has taken each year to make himself a better player.
He averaged 20 points a game through the regular season. He is one of very few who dropped over 50 points in a game this season. He did it with a little bit of everything, showing the ability to score from all levels. His three point stroke was smooth and he is effective in the post. Another junior, this kid has a high ceiling with his size, length, and skill-set.
Shared MVP honors with Grose in the Central 2B. He also passed 1,000 points only he did it during his sophomore year last season. He knows how to score, he consistently hits tough shots, and he gets to the free throw line. He is also deadly from three and is big enough to take his game down to the post, and is effective with any number of moves he has in his arsenal. I believe he plans to take his mid-nineties fastball and play baseball at Oregon St. Until then, he will continue to rack up the points in his senior year next season.
This is his 2nd time receiving league MVP honors. This season has been his best, finishing with over 21 points a game through the regular season and 28 and 11 rebounds during league play, including a 42 and 14 game. He isn’t just a scorer, he plays with a ton of energy and racks up the stats as he does. He rebounds, plays tough defense and gets his team buckets. He only has one gear and that is his high energy style of play that has resulted in two MVP’s.

Here is the exception. He plays at a 3A school but is making the list anyway. A name you might not know yet but should. Lincoln got a new player in Boston this season after transferring in from Washington HS. They might not have known what they got was the leagues most valuable player. He was a rebounding machine. He is one of the better rebounders I have seen for his size. He is around 6’2, but he is Rodman like on the boards. He continuously got 2nd chance effort points. He also has a soft touch on his jumper that extends beyond the three point line. Tough, hard nosed player with skills that were worthy of league MVP .
He earned his 2nd league MVP this season. He was the most valuable player in the Evergreen 2A last season as well. He has improved his overall game each year, resulting in him being one of the most complete guards in the state. He can shoot it with the best of them. His mid-range jumper has become a weapon, not just a skill. He plays tough defense and is a high energy player with poise to go with it. He does what his team needs to win. He broke the Tumwater school record for career threes made during the season. He also shoots it at a high percentage. He is a winner.
