About Aidan
Expert Analysis
Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
He heads a trio of players out of Quincy who could make some noise this winter. Bews has the size and skill to be a dominant player inside and has really improved his perimeter game, looking more fluid both shooting and putting the ball down to attack inside. His size and athleticism will prove a tough nightly matchup in the 1A which should lead to a standout senior season.

Aidan has been making his game more well rounded and has been doing a great job at adding more to what he can do on the court. He is patient down low in the paint and showcases excellent, advanced footwork. He rebounds the ball well, boxing out defenders and being aggressive on the glass. He has been improving his outside shot and after he does, he will be a sought after recruit within the 2024 class.

Bews is a big, athletic forward at 6-foot-6 who really excels as an interior scorer, using both good footwork, assertiveness, and strength to finish all around the paint. The next step for him seems to be improving from behind the arc. He took big steps to improve his long-distance shot last season and looks like he’s heading in the right direction so far this spring, but continuing to improve his perimeter scoring should allow for more opportunities to showcase his athleticism at the rim and open up space to drive.

, Bews showed off a budding 3-point shot that could help propel him further up the rankings as it continues to improve. He’s an underrated athlete, running the floor and finishing strong at the rim, but Bews also has a bevy of inside moves that give him a legit inside game. Don’t be shocked if his Jackrabbits make a real run in the 1A next season as they return almost all of their roster.

Aidan displayed a very much improved overall game this season. His post game has grown in a very good way as he is patient down low and has a plethora of moves he can utilize. He averaged around 20 points per game and did almost everything from the block down low. He is only going to keep improving on the court.

He averaged 20 points a game through the regular season. He is one of very few who dropped over 50 points in a game this season. He did it with a little bit of everything, showing the ability to score from all levels. His three point stroke was smooth and he is effective in the post. Another junior, this kid has a high ceiling with his size, length, and skill-set.

Aidan is a big body player standing at 6’6″ and has been playing phenomenal for Quincy so far. His game has taken the next step and he looks extremely comfortable with the ball in his hands. The junior still has next year to continue to grow his game, so I’m excited to see how much more skilled he will be. Against Royal in a 74-56 tea win, Aidan dropped 50 points for a career high night.

a junior (20ppg) and Bews (19ppg) before last night’s game. Bew’s took over as the season leader in exploding for 50 points in a win over Royal. He got buckets from all over the court. He has a great touch on his shot for a post player and his three balls were looking smooth and in rhythm. He can get deep in the paint and finish at the rim. He put it on the floor and got to the rim. He was impressive. I can’t decide if I was more impressed with how well he can shoot it or how well he can do everything else. Very smooth and can run the floor. Quincy has some great young talent and they are a dangerous team in the here and now.
