Ryan Ferguson — G — Germantown
In a win over Brookfield Central, Ferguson showed up for his team. In a five point win, the Germantown guard knocked down five threes and scored 25 points. Ferguson has certainly been a consistent performer this season, but Friday night marked a season-best. Scoring a season-high while shooting over 50 percent from the field is no easy task, especially when considering the guard did it against one of the better programs in the state.
Kai Rogers Kai Rogers 6'10" | C Wauwatosa West | 2025 State #41 Nation WI — C – Wauwatosa West
Even though he is just a sophomore, Rogers has developed into one of the most dominant players in the state. The 6-foot-10 center is simply much stronger and bigger than his opposition. On Friday night, Rogers took over and led his team to a win. He was able to tally 33 points on an extremely impressive 15-17 shooting. As good as he is on the offensive side of the ball, Rogers is just as good defensively. He recorded three blocks in West’s victory over Brookfield East
LaMont Hamilton — G– Racine St. Catherine’s
Racine St. Catherine’s has a history of producing top tier talent. It appears that Hamilton is the next great player for St. Catherine’s. The 2026 guard has played excellent basketball this season. He is scoring over 14 points per game on efficient shooting numbers. On Friday night, he put up one of his best performances. Hamilton scored 23 points and was a perfect 10-10 shooting from inside the arc. I would strongly suggest that college programs keep a close eye on Hamilton.
LaTrevion Fenderson — G — The Prairie School
I still believe that Fenderson is one of the more underrated prospects in Wisconsin. On the offensive end of the court, the guard has a complete skillset. He is strong, athletic, and skilled. The Prairie School standout uses all of these attributes to score in many different ways. In a one-point loss on Friday night, Fenderson tallied 23 points. A true three level scorer with a competitive edge, Fenderson is a name to track moving forward.
Perry Dorris Perry Dorris 6'0" | PG Martin Luther | 2025 State WI — G — Martin Luther
I really love the confidence that Dorris plays with on the offensive end. When the Martin Luther gets in a zone, he isn’t afraid to take some difficult shots. This confidence was on full display on Friday night. In a win for Martin Luther, the guard knocked down six threes and scored 24 points. Still a young prospect, I look forward to watching Dorris improve and develop in the coming months.
Matthew Esselmann — G — Port Washington
Sometimes, a prospect is just in a zone and there is nothing a defender can do. This was Esselmann on Friday night. In an upset win over Nicolet, the Port Washington guard scored 47 (!) points on an insane 16-22 shooting. When this season comes to an end and we look back on some of the top performances, it’s hard to imagine a better stat line than the one Esselmann recorded on Friday.
Nic Williams Nic Williams 6'1" | PG La Crosse Central | 2023 State WI — G — La Crosse Central
I really believe in Williams ability to impact winning at the next level. The La Crosse Central guard is smart and skilled. In a win over rival Onalaska, Williams led his team in scoring with 21 points. I love how calm Williams is with the ball in hands. He is never in a rush and always takes what the defense gives him. Rarely does Williams not make the right basketball play.
