The first batch of 2026 prospects rankings came out on Monday morning. In case you missed it, you can check out the complete Top 20 RIGHT HERE. The rankings came out on Monday and as always, rankings are imperfect and are a constant work in progress. There are a few names that weren’t included in the initial Top 20 rankings that you should still know about as they finish up their freshman seasons. These three are definitely on our radar and we want to check them out more this spring and summer. Keep it locked in to Prep Hoops Oklahoma for more prospect breakdowns and throughout the month of February for more ranking updates.
Our first name to keep an eye on moving forward is Drew Reynolds Drew Reynolds 6’0″ | SG Yukon | 2026 State OK out of Yukon. The freshman sharpshooter is one of the best shooters in the class but we’re still waiting to see him do it at a consistent level on the varsity level. That’s one thing that we always try to remind people when you’re talking about the younger classes. These prospects still have a ton of time to develop. And Reynolds is a name that we’re keeping an eye on moving forward based on what we’ve seen from him already. He was one of the main standouts when it came to shooting the ball at our Freshman Showcase back in August. And Reynolds already has the reputation as a knockdown shooter after the offseason he had last spring and summer. We also like the fact that Reynolds can learn from 2024 guard Dylan Snow Dylan Snow 5’10” | PG Yukon | 2024 State OK , who is one of the more underrated guards in the state’s 2024 class. Yukon’s backcourt is pretty crowded right now but we see Reynolds cracking it and providing important minutes, especially as a shooter.
We mentioned how our ranking updates are always a work in progress and they are never a complete product. A perfect example of that is Piedmont guard Hudson Hite Hudson Hite 6’2″ | SG Piedmont | 2026 State OK as it’s only taken a few days since the update on Monday to realize that Hite should have been featured in this latest update. Hite has been one of Piedmont’s more consistent scorers so far this season and this is a Piedmont team that we definitely will be keeping an eye on moving forward in Class 5A. The majority of players producing for them are underclassmen and the future is clearly very bright for them. What’s scary is Piedmont might go ahead and contend this season for one of those state tournament spots. They earned the 5 seed on the west side in 5A and will be in the Southeast regional. With a player like Hite filling it up from all over the floor, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Wildcats end up contending and punching their ticket to the state tournament. Hite has had multiple games where he’s led Piedmont in scoring and he has the chance to be a special one moving forward.
