Here are the top underclassmen from these games.
Calloway was the best player for Bishop Hartley on Friday night. In the second half, he got aggressive and he was hard to stop. He has a nice jumper that leads him to hit a couple of 3s. He got to the basket relentlessly. Nice finisher. He is very skilled. He also read when the defense was keying in on him as he was able to pass it to the right players every time.

I liked what I saw from Kropp. He is a very big sophomore. He is listed as 6’8 in the program and he isn’t skinny. Thick legs and an upper body that can be added to. He shows great potential. He moves very well. He had a euro-step move in transition that got my attention. He is strong but I wished I saw him get more physical against a smaller Dublin Jerome team. He finished the ball well and even hit a 3. His shot looks good. Knows how to play the game. I like this kid.
Nicholas is going to be very good. He is currently a 6’4 sophomore that is an athletic freak. He got into foul trouble in the game against Bishop Ready on Friday so I did not get to watch him as much as id liked but he showed some really good stuff. He is crazy bouncy. He has an awkward-looking shot but he hit a 3 to start the game with no hesitation. He is a very raw player but he gets so high on his hook shots they are almost unblockable. Excited to watch this kid develop.

Brown has been having a big impact on one of the best teams in Columbus this year. He is a sophomore that’s making winning plays for Olentangy. The plays he makes are so timely. He gets the big rebound. Makes the big steal. He has a good wingspan. His defense is his best attribute in my opinion but he has no weaknesses in his game. I believe you should recruit players that make game-winning impacts and that’s what Devin Brown Devin Brown 6’5″ | SF Olentangy Orange | 2025 State OH has done a lot this year.

Davis is a freshman on a senior lead team his role is not to be a scorer and he understands that. I’ve watched Olentangy Orange play 3 times this year and every time I see them play I can see Davis is finding out ways to impact the game without scoring that much. He is starting to find opportunities to impact the game. He did a great job of this on Saturday against Whitmer. He was getting rebounds, making hustle plays, and playing good defense. He had some and-1s off of getting rebounds and putting the shot back up quickly.
