He knows how to get to the rim through contact and he uses his body well when maneuvering down low; Miller has some range, as well – which allows him the freedom to play multiple spots on the floor. Titus positions himself right where he needs to be to grab rebounds and other times, he just jumps over everyone to grab the board. He runs the floor incredibly well and he is not a player you want to defend on a one on one – open court situation. Titus threw down four monster dunks in game one against Skiatook and each one was more authoritative than the last. Defensively, he uses his 6’6″ frame to his advantage as he moves well laterally and covers more ground than most.
Chris Mason Chris Mason 6'6" | PF Victory Christian | 2024 State OK 2024 – Victory Christian: Chris Mason Chris Mason 6'6" | PF Victory Christian | 2024 State OK did Chris Mason Chris Mason 6'6" | PF Victory Christian | 2024 State OK things! He was off to a slower start than usual but once he found his rhythm, he was able to showcase his skills and talents on both sides of the court. Chris aggressively and continuously attacked the rim throughout the game but was able to shoot from the outside, proficiently – when the defense gave him space. Chris runs the floor with the notion that he is going to score, no matter what! He has a good mid range shot and there are not many times that he misses once he gets to the rim. He may be one of the bigger players on the court but he cannot be categorized into a single position because he handles the ball like a guard and can shoot the ball from anywhere on the court — and, he can position himself in the paint like a 5, rebound the ball no matter where it goes and can defend the perimeter as well as protect his basket. Chris is a true threat and a difficult player to stop – both offensively and defensively. Mason finished the game with 20 points.
Hunter Howell 2025 – Skiatook: Hunter is a player that plays with more heart than a lot of other players his age. His effort stayed consistent throughout the game no matter what the score board showed. Skiatook took on Catoosa, a much bigger team – but, at no point did Hunter give up or stop giving 100%. Howell continued to attack the basket and finished on a number of attempts; he also shot the ball at a high percentage from beyond the arc. Defensively, he is scrappy and he earned himself numerous steals and deflections due to his aggressiveness. Hunter finished the game with 18 points – placing him in the top five player with the most points on day one of the Skiatook Tournament.
Mason Shiflet 2023 – Cascia Hall: Mason is a high motor guard that plays both ends of the floor well. He pushes the ball up the court quickly and he has a good sense of when he needs to attack the basket and when he needs to set up his offense. Mason can find the holes in the defense and is not afraid to attack the basket regardless of who may be in the paint. Shiflet can be a threat on offense, on any given night but his defense leads to many of the Cascia Hall fast breaks points as he is able to steal the ball on the turn and he knows how to stay low and in front of the ball handler, effectively. Mason finished the game with 10 points.
