Take a look at some additional looks at prospect game performances below!
Tyler Viau
Tyler Viau
Viau is having a statement season so far for the Bulldogs. In this win, he was the game high scorer with 19 points. He’s a dangerous shooter and looked like he really likes to work out of the corners. He buried triples from each corner in the game. Viau looked extremely comfortable lining up for the catch and shoot. He did a nice job seeking and finding space on the perimeter and making himself available for the pass.
Cole Hryckowian
Cole Hryckowian
Hryckowian is a young point guard to keep an eye on this season and beyond. He’s a confident scorer who can fire and hit a jumper from well beyond the 3 point line. Hryckowian also showed the ability to get downhill and finish with a pretty little scoop shot. He’s a solid passer and ball handler as well. I really liked an early feed to a cutter that he hit in stride.
Sanderson continued his attack on high school basketball in the win against East Lansing. He scored a game high 19 points, but it was how he did it that was most impressive. Sanderson was at first matched up with a quick and speedy guard, then forced East Lansing to match up a bigger and stronger guard on him. Regardless of the matchup, Sanderson stayed poised and effective. He’s proving to be an elite talent in the state of Michigan.
Hutson was a difference maker for East Lansing. He’s long and athletic and a really tough matchup for teams across the state. He used his length in all aspects of his game including defensively, on the glass and as a way to earn high percentage looks at the rim. Hutson might have been their most efficient offensive player on the night. There’s a ton of upside in this young man’s game.
I’ve seen Millington play enough to know that this wasn’t his best shooting night, but that might make this game even better from a prospect standpoint. We know that he’ll shoot better, but he found other ways to influence the game. Millington played with a high basketball IQ and was a very willing and effective passer. He showed touch on his passes and passed well in the open floor. I really think Millington can be solid at the next level.
Dunn is a very high upside player with a impressive skill set. He has soft yet powerful hands and can put really nice touch on the ball. I really liked the way he worked from the baseline and felt like he could get some looks from there. It felt like Dunn was active on the glass as well. This young man is going to make a college coach very happy someday.
