Luke Decker
Luke Decker
Decker grabbed my attention early in the game. His strength combined with fluidity in his movement was evident right away. Decker was most definitely not just a paint eater, as he threw a beautiful bounce pass to a cutter and buried a triple in the game.
Watching this game, it was easy to see how much Kouki has to offer as a prospect. He showed good offensive and defensive footwork in the game and showed that he can work out of the paint, the high post and the perimeter. Kouki had good hands in the game securing catches and rebounds down low.
Kozel notched a double-double in the game with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Even with the stats in other categories, it might have been his passing that impressed me the most. Even when leading his team in scoring, he was a willing, and very solid, passer. Kozel also showed fast and active hands on D.

Adam Kidder
Adam Kidder
Kidder was almost most impressive with his approach to the game. His energy, hustle, and desire are something that his coach can be very proud of. He started early with his work on the glass picking up 2 quick defensive rebounds. Kidder attacked the defense and tried to get in the lane off the bounce and make plays for his team.
Williams is one of those young men that’s just great at sports in general. Like when Saline football star Caid Fox once made a run to the championship match in a ping pong tournament even though he never plays. Give Williams a paddle and him and Fox would meet for the title. That’s the kind of all around athlete I’m talking about. In this game he worked with his back to the basket as well as facing the rim on the perimeter. Williams has excellent footwork and was walling up nicely on D.

Donye Thomas Donye Thomas CG Holt | 2024 State MI
Donye Thomas Donye Thomas CG Holt | 2024 State MI
Thomas was very impressive against a good Grand Ledge team. He showed a shot fake that he could turn into a very valuable tool on his toolbelt. Thomas had good handles and looked like he has some playmaker to his game. He was also able to shoot with 3 point range off a catch and shoot.
Caleb Estrada
Caleb Estrada
Grand Ledge seems to have a recent trend of very efficient and steady guards and Estrada fits that mold. He looked very comfortable setting the offense and working as the primary ball handler. Estrada even showed 3 point range on his jumper. He finished the game woth 11 points,. 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Isaiah Foster
Isaiah Foster
Foster definitely turned heads with his performance against Grand Ledge. He finished with a game high 20 points. Foster flaunted some really nice handles, keeping the ball low and close. He showed some shiftiness that forced the defense to react and rotate. Foster was a solid passer as well using his ball skills to draw the D and creating opportunities for teammates.
