Early season test for a pair of favorites in the North Shore Conference.
The Knights are off to a 3-0 start with a quality win over Milwaukee King at the Terry Porter Classic. Homestead’s only loss came to Wisconsin Lutheran, the top ranked team in Division 2. The Highlanders just put up 100 points in a win over Milwaukee Hamilton on Saturday. Whitnall (1-1) at Waukesha South (1-0)
Continuing to play a loaded schedule, Waukesha South will look to get their first big resume building win of the season after coming up just short against Wauwatosa West. Senior guard Tyran Cook Tyran Cook 6'1" | SG Waukesha South | 2023 State WI has been on a tear, averaging 32 points, 14 rebounds, and four assists per game. His running mate, senior Daniel Robinson Daniel Robinson 6'2" | CG Waukesha South | 2023 State WI , has also been impressive, posting 17 points, nine rebounds, and four assists per outing.
Whitnall defeated Kettle Moraine in their opener. In a bit of a rebuild, the Falcons got 12 points from senior guard Austin Herro Austin Herro 6'2" | CG Whitnall | 2023 State WI and 10 points from sophomore guard Myles Herro Myles Herro 6'2" | PG Whitnall | 2025 State #237 Nation WI in that victory.
Wisconsin Lutheran (3-0) at Neenah (2-0)
The Vikings have been on a roll to start the season. Wisconsin Lutheran blasted top teams, Homestead and Milwaukee Academy of Science in consecutive games en route to their 3-0 starts. Notre Dame dropped a bit of a surprising game to Hortonville in their opener. Senior guard Emmett Lawton Emmett Lawton 6'2" | SG Notre Dame Academy | 2023 State WI posted 24 points in the defeat.
Appleton East is looking to rebound from a home loss to Neenah in their Fox Valley Association opener.
