Austin put in the best scoring performance I’ve seen out of him in a big win over Cudahy on Friday night. Finishing with 25 points, his jumper was falling at a high level as he has the ability to hit threes off the catch but also get into the mid-range and knock down shots off the bounce. He may not be an above-the-rim player, but Austin gets good elevation on his pull-up jumper making it extremely hard for defenders to contest when he gets a bit of space. Also showed off his court vision with some nice passes in transition as well as out of the high post to penetrate the Cudahy zone.

Austin Herro Austin Herro 6'2" | CG Whitnall | 2023 State WI is the best player in Greenfield, WI. As a senior, Austin is averaging 16 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1 block per game. He is Whitnall’s floor general and possess a very high basketball IQ. Against Greenfield, he showed off his vision with next level passes. For a high schooler, he has great body control and creates open looks for himself and his teammates. He gets to the mid-range and absorbs contact well. Division one potential is there.

Austin Herro | 2023 | Guard | Whitnall rnAustin scored 16 points in the win over Menomonee Falls to earn game MVP honors. This appeared to be his second game of the season and only Whitnall’s fourth. I came away impressed with his dynamic passing style and ability. When the ball in his hands, he calmly goes about controlling the game and tempo. He is averaging 14ppg and is currently ranked in the top 30 of his class.
