Devin Daniel
Devin Daniel
Devin Daniel had 21 points & 4 steals Tuesday night in a win for Portola over the Anglican Church Grammar School of Australia (Churchie). Daniel excelled from mid and long range Tuesday night as he had 3 three-pointers and an array of one dribble pull-ups to either side.
Sebastian Rancik Sebastian Rancik 6’9″ | PF JSerra | 2024 State #89 Nation CA-S had 17 points for JSerra in a win over Newport Harbor Tuesday night. Rancik affected the game in multiple ways as he utilized his leaping ability to alter shots on defense, and sky above opponents for rebounds to create second chances for JSerra on the offensive end. Sebastian is a solid catch and shoot threat but likely needs to improve his handle to improve his chances of playing a more perimeter oriented game at the next level.
Adam Gaa
Adam Gaa
Adam Gaa had 21 points for Newport Harbor Tuesday night in a loss to JSerra. Gaa is a tough forward who would benefit from putting on some weight to deal with playing down low on both sides of the ball. Adam stretches the floor for his team and is able to utilize his quick first step after luring bigger defenders out to the perimeter.
Quinn Lambert
Quinn Lambert
Quinn Lambert had 11 points for Anglican Church Grammar School of Australia (Churchie) in a tough loss to Portola on Tuesday. Lambert displays good touch when he gets the ball around the basket but needs to work on his handle/footwork to allow him to get there more often. Quinn uses his length well on defense and blocked multiple shots in this one.
Jumaa Kitendo
Jumaa Kitendo
Jumaa Kitendo chipped in 4 points for JSerra on Tuesday in a win over Newport Harbor. Kitendo didn’t effect this game as much he will games in the future but you can clearly see what is possible for him to become with his build. Jumaa is all of 6″11 with very long arms but doesn’t yet constantly have his hands up on defense or offense which limits the effect he has on each possession. Kitendo showed a semi confident one dribble move in the post but his touch needs to improve and should with time.
