The junior guard really impressed me in Seminole’s gutsy 57-53 win over First Baptist. At 6-2, Way is able to score from all three levels, but really showed off his catch and shoot jumper in the victory. Despite being near lights-out from beyond the arc, Way has the recognition of knowing when to dish it out to a teammate for a higher percentage shot which proved to be vital down the stretch.

The 6-4 guard can flat out score the basketball. Wimbush’s strong handle, mixed with an array of combo moves makes it hard to stay in front with the ball in his hands. But don’t think you can just leave the heart and soul of the North Fort Myers basketball team open, because he can also knock down the long ball at a high clip. While he can score from all three levels, he hardly forces a bad shot and is always looking to get his teammates involved. Still unsigned in the 2023 class, that shouldn’t last much longer because Wimbush can play with the best of them.
Standing at 6-6, Stewart can play anywhere on the court; whether it be handling the rock, working from the high post, or mixing it up down low the senior is as elusive as it comes. Notching 14 points on Tuesday, he did it in a variety of ways and looked smooth as silk doing it. Along with that, his tenacity in the paint led to multiple rebounds for himself and the Pirates.

The ‘24 guard is an under-the-radar prospect to keep an eye on in South Florida over the next year and a half. Possessing a crafty quick release, Howe can catch fire in a hurry from three-point land with or without space from the defense. And while he does stand under 6-0, the junior plays much bigger than his height, mixing it up down-low and not being afraid to make hustle plays.
