Expert Analysis
Andrew Johnson | Prep Hoops Scout
Seminole is on 12-7 regular season run win streak behind impressive finishes from junior shooting guard Colin Way. Way is simply a ball player. He did everything for Seminole tonight, finishing with 18 points and 6 rebounds with countless effort plays. Way played multiple positions tonight while being the primary offensive scorer. The 6’4 junior has really high upside. Good jumper, physical at the rim and standouts with his hustle.

The 6-3 junior guard was efficient in all three levels whether it was his shooting, passing and his defense. Way finished with 15 points in a 65-61 overtime win over Largo. Way was also knocking down some clutch shots down the stretch to help his team get the win.

The junior guard really impressed me in Seminole’s gutsy 57-53 win over First Baptist. At 6-2, Way is able to score from all three levels, but really showed off his catch and shoot jumper in the victory. Despite being near lights-out from beyond the arc, Way has the recognition of knowing when to dish it out to a teammate for a higher percentage shot which proved to be vital down the stretch.
