St. Joe's Prep vs. St. John's (MD): The young bucks at SJP are now a year older and significantly more experienced and early on this season it shows.
Reading vs. West Catholic: This game will be played at a breakneck pace as both squads push the rock and play tenacious full court defense. Spearheading the attack for Reading is elite combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1378453' first='Ruben' last='Rodriguez'] (Rider commit) who is an elite, No. 1 scoring option. Senior shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1279628' first='Aris' last='Rodriguez'] is off to white hot start this season. Aris already has a 30-spot on the books this month, but college coaches continue to sleep on him. For Reading also keep an eye on guards [player_tooltip player_id='1382975' first='Myles' last='Grey'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1195389' first='Nick' last='Chapman'] as well as forward [player_tooltip player_id='2383207' first='Malik' last='Osumanu']. Pushing the pace for WC is Adam “Budd” Clark. Clark's combination of speed and skills slays opponents. Additionally, the Burrs feature two of Pennsylvania's most underrated 2023s in Marcus Branker, Jr and [player_tooltip player_id='991381' first='Shemar' last='Wilbanks-Acqui']. As a bonus, underclassmen [player_tooltip player_id='1601176' first='Jaden' last='Banner'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1576722' first='Kingston' last='Wheatley'] have already shown DI potential. Tip-off is at 3:00PM.

Radnor vs. Archbishop Ryan: Two all-state level players will headline this contest – AR big fella [player_tooltip player_id='1213553' first='Thomas' last='Sorber'] (several DI offers) and Radnor shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1119137' first='Jackson' last='Hicke'] (Princeton commit). However, the number of college prospects running the floor in this game does not stop there. Plus, RHS stretch-4 [player_tooltip player_id='1212678' first='Charlie' last='Thornton'] and shooting guard Jackson Gaffney are garnering interest from numerous schools. On the AR side, standout wing prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1192641' first='Darren' last='Williams'] is simply electrifying. Forward [player_tooltip player_id='1173991' first='Jaden' last='Murray'] is a unique prospect who owns an inside / mid-range combo skill set. Guards [player_tooltip player_id='1202211' first='Michael' last='“Zaire” Paris'], [player_tooltip player_id='1589091' first='Christian' last='Durham'], Ryan Everett, and [player_tooltip player_id='1477717' first='Rocco' last='Morabito'] will make valuable contributions too. All six of the AR kids we just named will play at the next level. Tip-off is at 4:45PM.

CY's lineup boats three DI prospects. 6'7” wing [player_tooltip player_id='1281777' first='Greg' last='Guidinger'] is a walking bucket. 6'8” power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1271440' first='Ben' last='Rill'] dominated the paint during the summer circuit. Outstanding guard [player_tooltip player_id='1287319' first='Ben' last='Natal'] is a play maker at both ends of the court. Speaking of the grassroots circuit, FJ's roser included a group of prospects who posted monster summer runs. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1472593' first='Ernest' last='Shelton'] scored at all three levels for Philly Pride. Meanwhile [player_tooltip player_id='1197608' first='Kevair' last='Kennedy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1197606' first='Kevin' last='Beck'] crushed it for Philly Revolution. DJ Rivera Jr. turned heads with BW Elite and is now one of the most highly regarded freshmen in the region. Tip-off is at 6:30PM.

Archbishop Wood vs. North Catholic (Pitts., PA): Wood has assembled one of the best offensive trios in the area in standout [player_tooltip player_id='1189096' first='Jalil' last='Bethea'] (27 points on 7 threes in opener), summer circuit breakout star [player_tooltip player_id='1483181' first='Josh' last='Reed'] and top ranked 2025 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1382983' first='Deuce' last='Maxey'] (offers from Drexel and Lafayette). The rest of the team is solid too. Wood's interior beast [player_tooltip player_id='1013075' first='Carson' last='Howard'] (East Stroudsburg commit) returns as a starter. Keep an eye on super soph [player_tooltip player_id='1188627' first='Milan' last='Dean'] who is playing well early on this season. Wood also has multi-skilled combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1577638' first='Gus' last='Salem']. North Catholic is a perennial western Pennsylvania state tourney contender. Tip-off is at 8:00PM.
