How Chamberlain is still available is an absolute mystery. During his senior campaign, Chamberlain averaged 10 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per game while shooting 36% from deep. Chamberlain was a starter and key contributor for this year’s SJP team that went 12-1 in Philly Catholic League play and advanced to the PCL tournament semifinals. Chamberlain poured in 22 points (4 threes) in that PCL semifinal contest. This athletic and fast prospect is a three-level scoring guard. With his high IQ and unselfish nature, Chamberlain can also operate as a pass first lead guard. On defense, Chamberlain’s active hands and quick lateral movements make him a plus defender.

He’s surely disappointed that it came in losing fashion, but Chamberlain saved maybe the best game of his career as a four-year starter for his last, going out with a smooth and efficient 22 points. He demonstrated his proficiency as a pullup shooter, knocking down shots off the bounce from the arc and in the midrange with smooth footwork and nice elevation to get his shot off consistently. Chamberlain showed great resolve, stepping up with key shots to keep Prep within striking distance before the wheels ultimately fell off late in the game. Being recruited by all levels right now, Chamberlain would be smart to pass the tape of this one along to any coach on the fence about pulling the trigger on him.

How Chamberlain is still available is an absolute mystery. During his junior campaign, Chamberlain averaged 12.5 ppg. and shot 44.3% from behind the arc. Then this summer, Chamberlain really heated up. He was a top performer at Philly HS Live as well as on the HGSL circuit. In August he tore up the competition at the A-Town Showdown with his three-level scoring. At the Mayfair Summer League Chamberlain registered games of 47 and 30 points. In addition to popping threes, Chamberlain can use his speed and elusive handles to get into the paint for lay-ins and floaters. Chamberlain’s stop-n-pop game is an underrated asset. Plus, he can operate as a primary handler if needed.
