An emerging rotation piece for a Prep team looking to make a leap up the PCL standings, Brown should make a splash on the varsity level for the first time this winter. He catches the eye immediately with his standout length and graceful athleticism in the frontcourt, playing with solid energy while making an impact around the rim on both ends of the floor. His contributions as a weakside shot-blocker and opportunistic finisher around the rim could provide a nice boost off the bench for a revamped Prep frontcourt. Brown is still early in the process of rounding out his overall skillset but looks ready to be heard from this winter.

Brown caught my attention during the 15U HGAL semifinals with a productive all-around performance that highlighted his long-term upside. He continues to emerge as a promising prospect and should only get better with continued development. Defensively, Brown displayed excellent timing as a rim protector, altering shots and taking away several would-be baskets. On the offensive end, he showed touch with his short mid-range jumper when given space to operate and finished effectively around the basket. As he continues to add strength to his frame, the game should come even easier for him, allowing him to play through contact more consistently and maximize his two-way potential.
