Sharpe is an intriguing 6-foot-2 guard to keep an eye on in the Burlington area at Cummings High. He’s currently averaging 21.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 2.0 apg for the Cavaliers in 2022-23. The sophomore strung together a 22-point performance against South Granville High, though it came in defeat, showing off his ability to operate in the backcourt as a perimeter and downhill threat.
Lawrence is another backcourt presence in NC’s 2025 class making waves at East Mecklenburg High this season. He’s putting up 22.4 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 3.7 apg as the Eagles are off to quite the start in 2022-23 at 9-1 currently. He’s a 6-foot-3 guard to get eyes on with their group.
Highlights
Grimes is beginning to find his niche in the Clayton High frontcourt entering his sophomore season. He’s producing 18.8 ppg, 6.4 rpg and 1.4 bpg in his sophomore season as the Comets are off to a 5-5 start. As he finds his way on the rebounding front on both ends, look for their trajectory and his recruiting to rise.

Timothy Brower
Brower is part of the reason Eastern Randolph High is off to their 6-1 start. The 6-foot-2 guard is averaging 16.4 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 3.3 apg as quite the active presence in the backcourt. He’s shooting 40.4 percent from beyond the arc in 2022-23. He’s a sharpshooter to get eyes on this season.
Williams is a name to get to know in the Farmville Central backcourt given his ability to get hot from deep and make plays for others. He’s currently producing 13.7 ppg, 4.7 rpg and 2.6 apg as the 8-8-0 Jaguars are once again looking to be contenders in the 2A scene.
