is headed to the University of South Carolina-Aiken in Aiken, SC. The Pacers compete in the Peach Belt Conference at the Division II level. Lawrence, a jack-of-all-trades kind of prospect, will look to utilize his versatility to help this USCA team win games in 2025.

is a versatile combo guard with a ton of untapped potential. What I liked most about Lawrence on film was his ability to impact winning without the ball in his hands. While there is no doubt he is an elite three level scorer, Lawrence has become one of the most versatile, tough to defend guards in his class. He’s a selfless, team-first guy who only cares about winning. That, paired with his ability to put the ball in the basket and grab rebounds when need be, was more than enough for USCA to pick up the phone and get him down to South Carolina. Lawrence is an elite defender whose footwork and speed is underrated compared to his other big time characteristics. This is a prospect whose got a lot to work with. I’d like to see Lawrence develop more of an offensive identity as this high school season starts to pick up. That doesn’t necessarily mean i need to see him in double figures every night. I think polishing his game around the perimeter will give him the confidence he needs to excel at the next level.
With a highly anticipated senior year underway and some exciting things in the future for

Lawrence was another 2025 guard who impressed with his efforts on the hardwood. He’s a big guard prospect at 6-foot-5 who showed he could get to the rim and get others involved with ease when given opportunities. He’s another unsigned senior guard who’ll be a steal by a college program out of Providence Day School.

Lawrence is slowly finding ways to impact the game without just scoring the ball with Upward Stars SE . He’s shown he can fill up the stat sheet in a variety of ways with 8.0 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 1.7 APG and 1.7 SPG on 52.9 percent shooting from the field during Session II. He’s a guard prospect who’s shown he can impact the game with his playmaking, scoring, rebounding and defending. DI programs would be wise to get eyes on him this weekend.

Jonah Lawrence had a strong performance for Upward Stars SE on Sunday against the Atlanta Celtics. Jonah is at his best when he has the ball in his hands and is in attack mode. Although he likes to drive to his left, once he gets there he is comfortable finishing with either hand. He plays the game with good speed, doesn’t force turnovers, and does a nice job of fitting through tight spaces on his way to the rim. Against the Celtics, he put up 11 Points on 5-9 FG and added 5 Rebounds in a 76-68 win.

As he continues to show his development, look for his recruitment to grow in the class.

The 6’4″ guard spearheaded the Chargers with versatility as the primary ball handler and shot creator, making impactful contributions on both ends. Notching an impressive stat line of 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists in the victory against Mallard Creek, he showcased a 50% shooting accuracy by exploiting matchups with smaller guards on straight line drives. Excelling on the boards, he initiated swift transition opportunities. Beyond scoring, he demonstrated playmaking skills, accuracy at the free throw line, and solid defense across positions. His promising outside touch adds another dimension to his game, signaling continued growth to the next level.
