9) Anthony Saunders Anthony Saunders 6'2" | SG Edison | 2025 State VA | 6’2” SG | Edison (#34 Overall)
Saunders had a good showing as a freshman at Edison working his way into the starting lineup and now going into his sophomore season he’s looking like he could be one of the best players in NOVA over the next few years. At 6’2” he’s strong and quick and moves well without the ball, he can knock down shots from deep and he’s a good slasher who can finish at the rim as well.
8) Landon Harvey Landon Harvey 6'4" | SG Battlefield | 2025 State VA | 6’3” SG | Woodberry Forest (#32 Overall)
Harvey is part of a young and talented Woodberry Forest team that should make some noise over the next few years, and as a freshman he showed he has a knack for making shots. He has good size on the wing and plays with a good motor on both ends of the floor, he moves well off the ball to get open and sets his feet quickly and he is very consistent from deep with good form and deep range.
7) Zekiah Bradley-Gilbert | 6’6” SF | Christchurch (#30 Overall)
Bradley-Gilbert is a very intriguing young prospect from the private school on the border of the 804 and 757, and he has a lot of potential moving forward as he continues to grow and develop. The 6’6” wing has great size that translates to the next level already, he can put it on the deck and get to spots and score it from multiple levels and he’s a good athlete who’s likely still growing too.
6) Gabriel D’Allesandro Gabriel D’Allesandro 6'3" | SG St. Anne's Belfield | 2025 State VA | 6’3” SG | St. Anne’s Belfield (#26 Overall)
D’Allesandro played a role off the bench for STAB last year in limited minutes, but this summer he showed a lot of growth and potential as someone who can do a little bit of everything. He’s a strong wing who can handle the rock and makes good decisions, he can shoot it from deep consistently and he plays well through contact and is physical on both ends of the floor.
5) Chancellor Perkins Chancellor Perkins 6'2" | SG Highland | 2025 State VA | 6’1” SG | Highland School (#21 Overall)
Perkins is coming off of a good summer and fall and should have a very good season for a young but up and coming Highland School team that is going to surprise some people this year. The 6’1” two guard knows how to create space off the bounce to get open shots, he can score the ball from all three levels and gets hot quickly and he knows how to get to the free throw line for easy points to get him going too.
4) Sebastian Whitfield Sebastian Whitfield 6'5" | SF Cape Henry | 2025 State VA | 6’5” SF | Cape Henry (#17 Overall)
Whitfield is one of the more talented young prospects in the 757 and as he continues to improve it wouldn’t be surprising to see him move up this list moving forward. The 6’5” wing already has good size and a good build and is an above average athlete who will become more explosive as he grows into his body, he can really shoot it from deep with good range and he can put it on the deck and get to spots and scores it well in the paint too.
3) Justin Burrough Justin Burrough 6'6" | SF Norfolk Collegiate | 2025 State VA | 6’5” SF | Norfolk Collegiate (#12 Overall)
Burrough is another 757 based wing with huge upside moving forward as he continues to develop and he has a great basketball lineage as his Dad Junior Burrough is a former UVA standout and NBA player. The 6’5” wing has long arms and is likely still growing, he’s skilled as a shooter and a scorer who finds ways to score the ball from different spots and he has all the tools to be an elite defender as well.
2) Jordan Scott Jordan Scott 6'7" | SG South Lakes | 2025 State #130 Nation VA | 6’4” SG | South Lakes (#7 Overall)
Scott is set for a breakout season in the NOVA area on a South Lakes team that will be a tough out for even the best of schools, especially if he takes the leap he showed this summer. At 6’4” and still growing he’s a big two guard who shoots the lights out from deep when he gets open, he’s a good athlete who can get downhill and play at and above the rim and he can get hot and score it in bunches when he gets it going.
1) Austin Williford Austin Williford 6'4" | CG Saint Anne’s Belfield | 2025 State #137 Nation VA | 6’5” SF | St. Anne’s-Belfield (#4 Overall)
Williford is on track to be one of the top players in the state when it’s all said and done and should have college coaches clamoring for him soon. At 6’5” he’s a long and wiry athlete who is bouncy when he gets downhill and rebounds well on both ends of the floor, he can put it on the deck and create shots in isolation situations and he’s shown the ability to score the ball from multiple levels. He really excels on the defensive end where he moves his feet well and plays with great energy fighting for loose balls, getting deflections and challenging shots.
