Perkins showcased his signature tough shotmaking, long range shooting and confidence. Perkins knocked down standstill and movement threes alongside a hesi floater in the lane and a fading jumper off the bounce. His ability to get hot continues to be dangerous weapon for Highland.

-A tough shot-taker and a tough shot-maker, Perkins was huge for Highland in a big win over Bullis. The senior guard mixed a defender into a smooth pull-up two, hit a sidestep three going right, and scored on a fluid baseline fadeaway from the short corner over the defender. Perkins showed a bit more of his scoring depth in their win over McNamara by hitting floaters and short jumpers in the paint over a slew of different defenders. His movement off the ball has improved to create easier looks at the rim and he’s using his opponent’s weight against them with better frequency– hitting them with a jab on a long closeout to raise up for a jumper or attacking their top shoulder to blow past them to the paint for an easier look at the rim.
