What players competed at a level that made us think that they are going to be recruited at an even higher level in the future? Here is our list!

[player_tooltip player_id='1544927' first='Kevin' last='Armstrong II'] of Breck (6'4 2024). Kevin's ability to score in a plethora of ways at 6'4 with length will make him a potential scholarship prospect. The touch around the rim after a move is very special and when you mix that with the pull-up and the ability to dribble separate from other forwards, Kevin has a chance to have a great next two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1296148' first='Marley' last='Baah-Yeboah'] of Lakeville South (6'3 2024). So many explosive plays and we already knew that, it's what has Marley in consideration from the start. What made me look closer with interest was the first step and first dribble move as well as the consistency of production.

[player_tooltip player_id='1288713' first='Trey' last='Borchers'] of Anoka (6'1, 2025). Trey is definitely one of the best guards in the state at his grade. Every play he makes is calculated at the right angle and time. The jumper goes and guys will love playing with him because his decisions and plays make the game easier for everybody around him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1269166' first='Matt' last='Drake'] of Lakeville North (5'11, 2024). I like this young man as a player more and more with every viewing. First of all he's tough as nails. He has the demeanor that coaches love in a player. And he's not just running a team, Drake is also putting points on the board.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284143' first='Isaiah' last='Johnson'] Arigu of Totino-Grace (6'7, 2024). We've always known Isaiah has the height and the skills, but this weekend we saw strength, agility, and a scoring aggressiveness to go with the other gifts. You take all of that together and Isaiah is the next high major prospect to likely get a high major offer in Minnesota.

[player_tooltip player_id='1161947' first='Joshua' last='Ofori'] of Prior Lake (6'7, 2023). If Ofori plays this hard (and he did on Sunday in fall league too) he is going to start pushing for scholarship chances as well as MIAC opportunities and other things. He was competing in a way that put up constant numbers as there are few high school prospects that have the combination of strength and agility that Ofori does.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284106' first='Chiang' last='Ring'] of Park Center (6'8, 2024). We all know that Chiang is the best shot blocker in Minnesota. We all known he's one of the quickest players off his feet meaning he's one good pass from a dunk at all times. The 16 point, 10 rebound, 3 block games are the regular. But when a college coach pointed out that his shot was looking better and he was making jumpers more consistently, and I watched it happen, that's a big step for him. That doesn't mean he is all of a sudden KD, but comfort in his jumper simply makes Chiang even more versatile.

[player_tooltip player_id='1288720' first='Patrick' last='Rowe'] of Chisago Lakes (6'6, 2024). Rowe has physical gifts that others simply don't have: size at 6'6, length, quick bounce. These items allowed video guys to put together a nice highlight video but Rowe was scoring in more ways than just dunks and of course a variety of scores is crucial to Rowe expanding as a prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1288770' first='JJ' last='Sullivan'] of Eden Prairie (6'2, 2025). JJ is an even better prospect than I thought. Why? Because of his quickness with the basketball. We all know he can shoot and make crafty plays, but his pace with the ball and quickness of everything he does is at a higher level than I thought.
